I tested this out at Macy's tonight. Don't like it. It smells unnatural. Not like a cologne, full of natural tones and notes or flavors.. But more like a cleaner for bathrooms.

I can't imagine why girls like this one so much. It smells powdery fresh, for sure. And maybe a good compliment to a sharp new suit. But I personally just don't like it.

@bepsaus112 I am amazed by it buddy. I use it at freaking 830 am before going to work and I can smell it after 6 pm in evening. So around 8-9 hours easy. I am completely in love with this cologne. In my opinion this cologne is best money spent because not only this smells great but lasts very long, pretty much all day. Highly recommended.

A few years ago, I remember watching this French movie Absolument Fabuleux with Marie Gillain, where some old aristocratic women talk with a lot of passion about Jean Paul Gaultier. A few years later, I talk about Jean-Paul Gaultier seriously with a lot of passion. Le mâle is clearly a masterpiece. And I don't know a lot of people that wear it. I am not sure if it's because I don't take the train in my town.

I dont know, to me this smells just too sweet and the vanilla dominates the fragrance too much in my opinion. I found it also smelled kind of synthetic

I agree. I bought some at Wal-Mart the other day, yes you read that right, WAL-MART, and to me it smells too girly. I wasn't able to see what it smelled like before I bought it, because the clerk told me that people would keep stealing their testers and she wasn't able to open it for me. I'm taking it back sometime soon. I know women like the kind of smells that are in this cologne, but when a guy smells like that, people might begin to question his sexuality.

Depends wer im going, If im going out ill do one on d neck and one ona wrist and then put them together. and if im just wearing it in daytime, i do one on the neck and thats it. I wouldnt recomend doing 2 on d neck coz it will just be too much, and you wouldnt want to over do it, maybe you just dont think it projects, as it is very strong

No, not at all! I like spicy, slightly sweet scents such as La nuit de lhomme and even Angel Men. It's just that Le Male smells like straight up mint toothpaste to me. I really don't see a "manly" man wearing this. To me, and this is just my opinion so don't bash me on this, but this is for a pretty boy or an attention whore, sort of like those preppy guys you see in high school all the time.

Actually, this cologne was influenced by the smell that old barber shops usually have when they put that warm shaving foam on you. However, I just think they over did it on the vanilla. Yes, I know there are other notes besides mint, lavender, and vanilla, but those are the only ones that I smell. Also, old spice is a heavy vanilla scent as well.

Hey Marc, quick question. Does your Jpg smell a bit alcoholy when you just smell the sprtizer? Also, when you spray it, does it have a bit of an alcolholy smell to it. I have a 2.5 oz and it when I smell the spritzer, it smells very vanilla..y and even when I first spray it it smells very nice. You can barely detect any alcohol. The 4.2 oz I have is the complete opposite. While it smells nice, the spritzer's scent smells alcoholy. Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!

@robes08 I just got to try The Dreamer for the first time. I only sprayed it about 10 minutes ago, but smells almost identical to the Le Male sample I have. It's kinda crazy actually. Not sure what it will do once it settles all the way down, but for now there's a huge similarity.

Both dry downs of Le Male and the Dreamer do end up smelling very similar. Only the entries of both smell distinct and different. Im actually a little disappointed I found out on my own and the guys having great revs about them didn't.

Hi mate quality reviews. Have you tried CUBA GOLD? Its very similar to Le Male but its only around $10 for a 100ml bottle! The bottle is in the shape of a large cigar and It comes in a good quality tin. Im from the UK and got a new 100ml bottle on EBAY for just £5 ( $8 ).
