Hey so I was wondering.... at the part that comes up at 1:36, there's a string between the 9 &11's and the 10 & 8's etc thats empty in the tab an I wanted to know... Do you play thats string or are the notes seperate or....?

I think it's some kind of technique or something. like when you read tabs and you see / or \ it means to slide or something like that (I'm not good with tabs... I just learned how to read them two days ago...)

Its a string mute i think. You hold your hands over the strings at the frets but dont press down so that your fretting them. Sorry if thats just confusing but I hope it helps ;)

It's becuz you play but without your fingers only the strings, i mean you have to put your fingers on the strings and play but don't push the strings only put your fingers (:
