memories that is etched in the heart, this song marked a major radio from sao paulo in Brazil, so today we have memories of a season where many people would stay awake until two in the morning listening to a program called love songs, this was the radio of love, I loved this radio Financial Statements for reasons that came to be sold to the band then fm.
This song was a classic 12inch remix and was the song for me and my wife when we first met and had some great memories and still listen to it to the present day,did have the 12inch but went missing love it and still love my wife even thou we are getting older and have grand kids now love the 80"s
OMG!! The summer of '84 in Phoenix,AZ., listening to this beautiful mix on 1060 KUKQ AM radio, that's right I said AM RADIO!! :) It seemed like they played this every evening of every day, time went by so fast, can I go back, please?
FYI: this is not the original artists singing these songs in the medley... it one group (Band of Gold) performing cover versions of the hits -- Nonetheless, they sound great in doing so. But the originals are much better, of course. I agree today's artists are mostly horrible, especially the ones who don't know their music history & practice singing the classics.
Think it sounds still good after 30 years! We even spend a lot of time finding a Coral SITAR guitar ( at 7 min 50 in video) - only 2 known in Holland then ;- ). My friend Paco Saval, who wrote the Lovesongs theme and arranged the ( musically beautiful smooth ) transitions between the songs, got compliments from all over the world for this production. BTW , I recorded and mixed this together with Paco Saval and Pete Wingfield ( high lead vocal in HaveYouSeenHer ), so I am a bit biased ;-)

This was certainly no cheapo production!

1984, oh yes! I was working at Butlin's with the most beautiful girlfriend I ever had. Most nights we'd be smoochin' and kissin' to this song, mostly to the 7 inch version but occasionally to this 12 inch mix. Ten minutes of sheer bliss. She's long gone now but thanks for posting. It brings back the best memories ever!
