Sooo...this is obviously a common issue, otherwise you wouldn't post a video about it...and with the response you're giving...you pretty much show you don't care about your users...way to go...at least change the "Uploaded By USERNAME" to "Uploaded By CHANNEL NAME."...You've got over 5500 users AT LEAST who want their names changed...so you want us ALL to delete our content and re-upload it, wasting HOURS of time?

Youtube should really consider changing this policy. Plenty of other websites allow users to change their username. I don't see why Youtube should be so different. At the very least, they should let us change the capitalization of our usernames.

I do not like the answer but at least I know the answer to a question that has been in my mind. YouTube should really reconsider the policy on this and allow YouTuber to change their user name without changing their account. In this country you do get to change your name i.e. through marriage, legally-without changing who you are, you get to keep your friends etc. . Our accounts and views and subs are part of us now, we do not want to lose them if for some reason we need to change the user name.
