@TallSky I knew u would understand how hard it was & still is as i watched this unfold in the skies above me. As she rose here was much more orange than normal in the column below her, we had no way of knowing she was malfunctioning as she left the Pad....this poignant tribute vid captures my feelings perfectly as I watched helplessly & in horror. I Was 7 years young when I saw it happen on TV... astronauts in general were my heroes and to see this was terrible. I cried.
