I've truly been playing Call of Duty Modern Warfare 2 since release! I just downloaded the brand new MapPack from mw2forfreeYinfo (replace Y with . ) , and I need to tell you that these new maps are a Must have! Be sure to read the details to make it work with steam, in order to play with your friends like i've been doing.

No this is not Modern Warfare 2. This is the first Modern Warfare, and in this mission you go into the base and abort the missiles before they reach their target.

Like both, but cod4 kills cod5, I would definitely recommend it.

Even with the release of CoD5, there are 17,000+ servers running on CoD4 1.7

I can run on 1280x900 with everything on max with no AA, or 1024x768 with 4x AA and get 30-60FPS... I run a GeForce 8500GT 512mb and a 3.0GHZ Dual Core AMD Athlon 64 on Vista with 4GB of RAM.

Hopefully that will give some perspective on what it will take.

but everything else is on, dynamic lighting brings shadows, just not extremely high detailed shadows, and I have dynamic lighting on full and it looks great still.

I would think so, I have EP2 and it is quite an FPS hog for a Source game, if you can run that on high CoD4 should be able to run on high. What video card and CPU do you have and how much RAM do you got? Then I will tell you for sure.

Wow you should have no problem at all, plenty of RAM, very very great video clock, good enough CPU clock.. the only thing I would be concerned about is your video memory, but your clock speeds are so high it should be fine on max or near max (minus vertical sync or slightly lower screen res.)

I got same type of monitor... 19" 1440x900 wide with 5ms.. lol but I have GDDR2 memory in my card. GDDR3 is nice, but it is nothing without sufficient amount of memory.
