  • Net View displays a list of computers in your current domain or workgroup. You do not have to be connected to the same workgroup or a domain to access a wireless network. So I don't think Net View will give you the correct answer.

I think that the reason that the program was made was to find out who is using your wireless network and to do that you have to explore your arp table. You can not ping an ip/name address if you do not know which address to ping.

  • Every time i open internet explorer I'm afraid of taking viruses XD

  • just type in "NET VIEW" on cmd to see who is connected and it's free lol yes capitol letters

  • @kindom2010 u dont need capital letters...

I changed the "admin" pass but still know the "user" password. having logged in as "user" into my router, I see lots of neighbors' devices (like some "user-PC" and "elonex" and "iPhone") but I can't kick them off cos' I ain't "admin". I also need to asign a static IP cos' me and dad are running dedicated servers (Me; Portal 2, Dad; S.T.A.L.K.E.R). Please help! How do I reset admin password? Where is the "reset" button?

  • Work like a charm and it is a pleasure to hear your voice. I just would like to give a huge thumbs up for the great info you have here on this post

  • Nice video and tool

  • does it only detect wireless Devices or wired aswel?

  • lol this is a better and shorter way type in cmd in ur strat menu click on it it will open then type in it net view then u can see all the computers connected to ur wireless network

  • Nice review and instructions but everytime you say a word with the letter "P" in it, it sounds like you're hitting a bass drum.

You have the microphone too close to your mouth with no foam over it!

  • Beside that you should have mentioned that that zamzom is not only the free edition but also the basic one that's exactly what it does: very basic results! It doesn't show you the computers' names whereas "net view" does exactly the opposite: the names of the connected PC and by pinging the PCs's names you can find the IPs behind their names.

  • Why should it be so complicated when the "net view" command can be used and does the same thing?!

  • "wireless rooters" haha

  • @AussieTroopa that's how english ppl say "rawters" :P

  • save money! pip-pip-cheerio!

  • "Rooters" is "Routers" in Britian.

  • mr. greek

  • Ok I have secure password on my system strangely I'm getting the 3 IP's listed from my laptop my mum and dad and also getting listings of 3 others with IP's starting two of them with 224 and one 239.

  • lol

  • doent work my geek

  • This is a useful program. Catch somebody on your network? ARP poison your router and redirect them to an easy to write, auto-executing program that reboots their computer every time they start it up. You could be much meaner than that but it's more fun to mess with them.

  • great info you have here. I would be mac filtering my wireless router now. If they cracked my wpa key that would be useless. Thanks

  • @deicidejan MAC addresses can be spoofed too. If they want in bad enough, they can get in.

  • @Keinichn But I'm not worried because people in my place are dumb. That Mac Spoofing youre talking are for 133t h4x0r. LoL

  • Nice work, decent video, very informative

  • do you have licence keys

  • nice tool man!

  • can u do that cmd thing?

  • @FELIX0123 what cmd thing?

  • not sure, but i saw a vid that u use cmd and u type in sum shit and u find who's on ur network.

  • @FELIX0123 video is still there

  • @FELIX0123 find the "run" application, type in cmd and type "netstat". Thatll give you all local/foreign connections.

  • @FELIX0123 type netstat but I don't know ow to get rid of the bas tards

  • @FELIX0123 lol type net view in cmd

  • @Britec09 do i have to put my mac adress on the mac adress list... or only the people i want in my wireless

  • @Britec09 command text thing

  • @FELIX0123 netstat -ano is the code

  • @FELIX0123 press start

    go to run

type in cmd then press enter

    then type in NET VIEW

    and you see them

  • @Regicruz can you see there ip too?

  • @FELIX0123 Its NET VIEW

  • really good vid. Please could you make a video on how to use and settings on ur wireless router because you can kick people off the internet on ur router settings but i have forgotton> thanks

  • go to cmd and type net view but still good tutorial

  • Net View displays a list of computers in your current domain or workgroup. You do not have to be connected to a workgroup or a domain to access a wireless network. So I don't think Net View will give you the correct answer.

  • i have installed netframework and zamzong wich bought the full version thanks for that mate.since i have made these changes to my pc i no longer am able to use the command :NET VIEW on the command prompt to see who is connected to my pc , i get error 6118 what have i done????

  • there can be people who clone a mac address and manage to sneak into your network

  • not with mac filter on they wont.

  • But...in the list of IP and MAC Addresses....one of them is the computer I'm using or those are all the computer connected BUT the one I'm using?

  • That will be your computer and all other computers connected to your network

  • There is an option you can enable or disable web (administration page) access through wireless. If you want to logon to the router via wireless, just enabled through a wired connection first.
