Like the old house too.Im going to make mine out of a garden shed but I want it insulated with windows and metal studs to frame a proper door.I gotta get a camera to show .Will see.Good fishn to ya. L8R

hey guys great job on the shanty was wondering if you would use your hobo stove or some way to heat it while you are fishing to keep the chill out? yes the particle board does swell up and fall apart after a while maybe a coat of old marine paint on the outside will help expand its life. looking forward to seeing some ice fishing in the shanty this winter.

@7inmag1inpipe So deck sealer would work? We might use that.. but is it like paint.. cuz we would probably have to paint it outside.. so we prob cant paint in this weather.. but we will probably use that or my dad recomended some old used paint ..
