I'm having major problems with my EeePC 1000H. I don't think I made it prone to anything malicious but it takes about 5 minutes for it to finish loading XP and takes about 2 minutes just to start any Office program.
Any advice? I'm not too sure how to do a system restore without a CD Drive either.
That's without any modifications. Straight XP SP3 install, with ASUS eee pc drivers disk installed over top. If Apple releases a netbook (i.e., 10" priced at $400), I'm buying! Until then, I'm saving up for a Mac Pro tower. BTW, I've seen installes of OSX on Hp Minis -- a real treat, and a smack in the face of Apple fans who show off their Macs like vanity plates.
im duel booting, but i dont have any choice between OS's only linux will start up, windows xp is unavailable
i had xp then i installed eeebuntu, but i dont know how to use windows anymore becuase it doesnt show up on startup
