I think what amazes me so much is the overall level of riding skill of everyone, even with the one way etc etc ,too bad the drivers are no better ,same here stateside ,as an ex-pat in the US you really do see some awful riding, not all but a lot,props to you guys back home.

Glad you liked it mate. Had a test ride on the new 08 a wee while ago and must admit I was tempted but, I've only had mine for a year and I'm still getting to know it. Just stuck some goodies on it as well - Power Commander & TRE and she's going even better. Think I'll wait for a while before I try something new. :-)

Yep, they made the mountain road (from Ramsey to Creg-Na-Baa) one way for the whole two weeks last year (instead of just on Mad Sunday). The idea was to try and reduce the amount of accidents and I heard it worked. In fact they've decided to do exactly the same thing again this year.

great vid mate, seemed to handle ok over the mountain, i got the same bike but never been to tt on it cuz i love me k5 best, but rode me mates 10 from andreas to ramsey, phew, tank slap hell, great fun though, safe riding mate.

Glad you enjoyed the video. The 10 handles fine over the mountain - just the brakes that let it down which I've now sorted by putting on ZZR 1400 calipers. Know what you mean about the tank slapping as well on the back stetch into Ramsey. Scary but fun all the same. All the best.

To be honest he was determined to stay in front of me after he got past again on Hailwood's Rise. He wasn't hanging around to be fair so it wasn't too frustrating and not worth trashing my bike over. Anway, it's all a bit of fun mate and I'll be back for more this year.

Hello, did you find the Glpro atre gear indicator, made any real difference to bikes acceleration and throttle response? I have one, but as yet havent had time to fit. Thankyou.

hi bud what year is this zx10 (1Q) if u use it alot do u find it realible cose i am torn between a blade and a zx10 pls reply as ur the only person i now with a zx10.

Hi Mac, she's a 2007 model bought new in April. I managed to do 5000 miles in 5 months and there were no problems. If you get the 06/07 Kwak you won't be disappointed - as you've seen; great handling, fast and loads of fun. Downside? Front brakes are prone to fading when used hard & I ended up getting the steering damper re-valved because it was as much use as a chocolate fireguard! Regardless, wouldn't change it mate and can't wait for the warmer weather!! Good luck with whatever you decide.

I need a gear indicator on my 10. SOmetimes it goes to the redline soo fast, and im changing gears so rapidly that i dont even know what gear im in. that road looks crazy. 165mph on a 2 lane road, with traffic. crazyness. I wanna ride on that road!

You could try changing the gearing by putting a 1 or 2 tooth larger front sprocket on it!Higher top speed at the expense of a little bit of acceleration!Take Care!

I think the top end's fine on the bike - it was me who couldn't get it over 170 on the clock! Will have another go this year......

Hi tedwine, comes down to personal choice but I've always been a Kwak fan. If you've enjoyed the zx-6 then you'll love the 10, it's a great bike, bloody fast with awesome cornering. Go for it mate!

Hi there shckar. It's the fastest bike I've ever owned. Don't know about having the fastest top speed but there's not much to touch it when it comes to acceleration and cornering. The bike is awesome and you won't be disappointed if you decide to get one - don't wait till next year mate!

Didn't get to go this year so ta for posting that.I know it can get a bit hairy at those speeds with people hogging the right even when they're crawling nearly t boned my mate in 06 at the 33rd when someone pulled out doing about 60 and wandered all over the lane.You handled it well and carried some nice speed and lines.cheers

Glad you enjoyed the clip toly900. Shame you couldn't make it - good bash and the mountain stayed one way for the whole duration. Just as well as Mad Sunday was a complete wash out. Only had the bike about 5 weeks before I got over there and was still getting the hang of it so should be well tuned in by next year! Never know, might see you over there.
