The original Twilight release date was in DECEMBER, and HBP was moved to July so that WB's income would be balanced between 08' and 09', since 09' was previously a dead year for them. Twilight was moved to Nov. 21st AFTER the WB moved HBP. It was purely a financial decision, and it had nothing to do with greed. In today's financial world, I wouldn't be surprised if they made the decision simply to save themselves from loosing a lot of money in 2009.
