Actually, your disc is cracked because of the jewel cases that come with your games when you buy them. When you take them out and put them back in improperly, that crack starts to form. Those teeth in the middle of the case is what you have to watch out for. Trust me when I say this: both my MW2 and 2 Halo: Reach discs did this to me and I am just as pissed as the rest of you guys.

My grand theft auto IV got the ring around it and it was still readable but my xbox froze when it got to the blue R right before the loading screen but even with the ring my xbox stil was able to read it and yet my game " Tales of vesperia" got one crack that isn't as big as yours and my xbox reads it as a fucking dvd and it can read my grand theft auto I was so pissed off but you should just go to gamestop and ask them to repair it for you it costs between 1 to 5 bucks

I have the same problem, except imy discs are scratched, not cracked and have gradually got worse until it's impossible to do anything on the game. Most of the time it just freezes but other times it says the disc is unreadable. I take good care of my discs (Black Ops & Halo 3) but i was considering buying a new dvd-rom drive to replace it. After this video, im not sure whether i should waste £30 on a new dvd-rom drive if i'm going to have the same problem if it could be to do with heat.

Though ive never had that problem, several times when i put a disc into my xbox which i used to have, It would make a sound similar to "crahahhhchaczzz" then it would have a large scratch around the outer rim of the disc, that happend to me like 3 times, then after that it's fucked, its bullshit.

This happened to me too, I know it is the xbox because I put the game in (no scratch) I took it out and there is a massive scratch down the center, btw my xbox is horizontal this has happened to four of my discs same exact thing as what happened in this video

same thing happened to my copy of GTA 4, exept I don't think it was the xbox, it was the fucking case. I keep it in a sleeve now, but Microsoft riggs their cases to crack the center of the disc after a while. I now keep all my 360 games in sleeves

Though ive never had that problem, several times when i put a disc into my xbox which i used to have, It would make a sound similar to "crahahhhchaczzz" then it would have a large scratch around the outer rim of the disc, that happend to me like 3 times, then after that it's fucked, its bullshit.

I never ever heard of this problem. Most cracked discs are because people mishandled these discs.

Im out 120 dollars cuz of fucking microshit. and my shitbox 360!! I called microsoft, and they said "Obviously you did this sir with bad treatment of the disc, the system wasn't designed for this" I cussed that fucker out. And he said it cost 120 dollars to fix it. And i cant get a new disc either......fuck them.
