Even though this is not the fingering Vernon Reid uses(see videos of Reid himself), the notes are still correct.

For those arguing if it's C major or G mixolydian, those two scales are exactly the same scale, the only difference is the root.

Learn scales first because that hole song is based of the c scale learn the music theory then learn songs take my advice
