haha riley only got one thing right. Bird became a coach. Robinson was great but got dominated by players like Olajuwon till Timmy got there. Magic's not an owner, the game got slowed down, and the Knicks won no championships.

Riley was right about Magic being an owner as he's part-owner of the Lakers. As far as David Robinson goes, all he did was win the 95MVP award but many playoff disappointments including the 1995 WCF vs. the Rockets (1995 NBA Champs). He needed Tim Duncan to win him one in 1999 n' 2003. Riles was right about Bird coaching. Hey Riley, what if I told you at the time that your Knicks would not win a title, Bulls win 6, and you'd leave the Knicks for the Heat where you didnt win until 2006??

He was right about Bird coaching. Seven years later, Bird almost led the Pacers past the Bulls. But Jordan and the Bulls wouldn't have owned the 90's if Sabonis would have come over to Portland in 88 or 90 instead of 95 and would have stayed healthy. Portland, at least, should have taken them to game 7 in 92 without him.

I was going to disagree with Portland taking Chicago to a 7th game in 92 but now that I think about it, you're right. That series really should have been a classic, but the only reason Chicago didn't take it in five or a sweep for that matter, was because Chicago beat themselves in those two losses
