  • how is ur mic do u have any problems with it being smuthered sounding?? good vid by the way

  • @watchyou11

I don't use the mic feature very much so can't comment on that. Some people have had mic problems though.

  • Thumb up for the voice )

  • Thank you.

  • thanks for posting, i was wondering about this

  • Do you know if the A500 will support using a USB Flash Drive from the USB port?

  • @mlc41143

Yes, you can use USB flash drives with the A500.

  • @Kathleenhenri Do you if I need to do something to get it to work? I can use the USB port to plug the tablet into my PC, but if I plug any Flash Drives into the USB port...nothing. My Flash Drive has a light which in the PC lights up, but does light up when I plug it into Tablet. I also have a hub with light which does light up when I plug into tablet. I tried to Chat with one ACER person and they said I needed to download a "FILE MANAGER" first to get the tablet to read the drive

  • @Kathleenhenri Then when that did not work, I chatted with another one who said, Sorry, USB port doesn't read Flash Drives, just used for PC to tablet connections. I am so confused. From all You Tube videos I have seen, the USB port seems to work for anything, now the one person at Acer says it will never. Do you have any words of wisdom? Thanks

  • i use a mini bluetooth keyboard with a mousepad it works great too also it supports usb mous:-D

  • I SUBBED BECAUSE YOUR AWSEOME!

  • Casseguard Tm Compact Metal Desk Stand

  • What is the stand you are using to prop up the Tablet?

  • Thank You, I went to the Acer web site and from the FAQ it says their Androd tablets can be connected to an external USB keyboard although it doesn't specify "all" tablets. Well I think I'm just going to try it out since I like th portability of a 7" vs. a 10".

  • Hello, does anyone know if a USB keyboard will work with an A100 although the the A100 only has a min USB?

    Thank You!

  • @happybarnie

I Googled your question and it seems that the A100 doesn't support usb keyboards, yet. Maybe with ICS which has not been released yet. Meanwhile, most bluetooth keyboards should work just fine. Good luck!

  • @Kathleenhenri the a100 does support usb you need to buy a usb otg cable

  • how do u change screen from green to blue

  • @30inventionman

Find a nice wallpaper online, long press on the image, and choose the option to use it as your wallpaper.

  • YOU HAVE A really nice voice...

  • You have a calming voice :-)

  • Thanks Kathleen! I just got a Iconia and LOVE it! I am just starting to learn Anrdoid though, so need some helpful tutorials and pointers on good peripherals and apps.

Hope top see more of your videos on this neat Tablet.

  • what is the item number on that keyboard you used in the video? I love it, have to have one!

    thanks Love your videos, Kevin

  • @76SRV190

There is a link to the keyboard in the description. Deal Extreme. Well worth the $18.60.

    Have fun!

  • My Logitech K260 wireless keyboard is working fine with Iconia Tab. You can check out my newest video in which I demonstrate how to use it :)

  • i like your keyboard

  • Root access is not required. Should be plug and play with the stock system.

  • I saw Titanium backup and Root explorer on one of your homescreen... do u need root access to get the USB keyboard working?

  • Usb wired keyboards seem to be supported out-of-the-box. Some people have not had good luck with wireless usb keyboards though. I think broad bluetooth keyboard support is coming with the June update. (fingers crossed)

  • Excellent video! I was at my local electronics store and noone could tell me if I could use a USB keyboard with this or not.

Acer's site says USB keyboard support will be added via an update. Seems like that's not the case!

I tested the W500 and it's a slow pig compared to the A500. I was interested in the ASUS transformer however, this should do as well!

Thanks again for posting the video!

  • Documents to Go can open or work with any Word document. Compatible with Power Point and Excel too. The files can be downloaded through DropBox or email attachments or transferred through usb or sd card.

    Thanks

  • Nice.
