I don't think this is Carlin speaking, nor is this a speech of his. If there's any harder evidence for or against this being his, please provide. I would like to know if this is in fact his, but I don't want to see beliefs that aren't his credited to him.

@Rocky183 Seems like I was misinformed as well. Please understand that I liked the writting and this was just me practicing reading a script.  I don't know much about George Carlin. Quick question, do you know the writer of this piece? Thanks.

@icemanizaki I did some research and in fact, Carlin isn't the author, he actually despises the piece, calling it a "sappy piece of shit" in his website. Credit belongs to Dr. Bob Moorehead, former pastor of Seattle's Overlake Christian Church, and was published in 1995, under the name "Paradox of Our Age", in a book called "Words Aptly Spoken".

I love this so much, i wish i could find another reading of this with some increasing emotion. This is a great reading but i want to use it for a performance piece.
