NO it is not! Power Rangers is actually the American version of the popular Japanese Tokusatsu franchise 'Sentai'.
And this is actually part of a different Tokusatsu franchise called the 'Chouseishin' series that ended in 2007.

@tna4mex this falls more into the metal hero version of tokusatsu. most of the short lived series had better camera work and choreography, since it may most likely never be seen again.
