  • Dear redliterocket4,

Not only do you make my heart smile with your descriptions of the experience, but you are dreamy as hell.

  • What about salvia?

  • This topic will always be incompletely understood until the effect of drugs on the human energy body (etheric, astral) is taken into account. After watching clairvoyantly what happens when a friend does psychedelic drugs I need no further proof nor theoretical reasons to avoid them. It has nothing to do with 'legitimacy.'

  • You suck. Take care. Abandon all teaching.

  • Psychedelics are definitely a way to gain major spiritual insight into the world, through eyes you could never see through in your normal ego state that your in right now.

  • yes i agree with seveneverything thats true. If you dont know how to use these substances they can destroy your brain for life. It's like riding a bike. (natural drugs eg. mushrooms, mescaline, cannabis) not synthetic drugs because the body isnt very well equipped to handle them. They can be very benifical in enhancing your mind and can be just as bad.

  • These videos are great.

  • totally agree , it is not cheating ! it is the chemical way to unlock large sections of your dormant un-used brain (dont we normally use like %15 of it on day to day basis)

  • Have you guys actually tried any psychedelic drugs or are you just studying some guys theorys? What alan says about 'we are basically all one' is true in my own opinion.

  • Tripperrrrr the guy he is talking about "Alan Watts" knew more than you ever will and the fact he is studying Alan and understands him leads me to believe he knows a lot.

Regarding their use for spiritual enlightenment, I am afraid it would be a waste of time for many people who don't have to tools to interpret what they see and feel.

I could actually be detrimental to people of weak mind and spirit.

  • totally wrong dude. enhancing your mind through psychedelic drugs is good for anyone.

  • dude use some higher dose's of psychedlic drugs because you dont know shit. "reality is perceived at a higher state of mind" omg dude when you are substance affected, you will perceive what you want to perceive its not reallity but you may be more alert. You are dying when you use these substances. 'Yes' you will be changed for the rest of your life. 'Yes' you have spiritual expeirences but your mind is trying to tell you whats going on. It can also be very dangerous.

  • Tripperrrr everything you see and feel is in your head, actually the darkess part of your head and brain, basically everthing you see is in a dark little box in your head. It makes images by recieving signals you can alter these signals using drugs!

  • thats bullshit tripper, a psychedelic experience can be entirely different from person to person, and theres no proof that some of what you feel is not reality. for all we know the drugs are just unlocking what we cant see when not enhanced.

  • drugs are proof that reality is only perceived from the mind and that reality can be changed but it only affects you.

  • yea, that is true, but if we are unhappy with our reality and are trying to change it, isnt the only thing that matters the fact how we perceive reality? doesnt matter how other people see us, if our reality, the reality we made for ourselves is a lie but its beautiful and real for us, isnt that the only thing that matters? in my opinion...

  • lay gnosis

  • im just saying you should not be making out how amazing it is for you because a large amount of people who use LSD end up having very bad effects from the use, i have seen it myself and it was not very nice as he was a friend of mine.

  • what bad effects?

  • you gotta learn to use the substance not abuse and thats prolly where those people went wrong

  • LSD is safe and does not damage any part of the body except for the ego. If you are someone with a big ego, you most likely will not enjoy psychedelics.

If your friend did have harmful effects from LSD, it probably wasn't real LSD, but rather a research chemical being sold as LSD.

  • true that!

everyone should take a large dose and realize that they are already insane..... the only thing that follows is complete denial or acceptance and the attempt to right oneself.

  • let me say that i am in love with psychedelic drugs... but lsd can damage your mind, if you drank a pint of it i don't think you would come back. mushrooms i think are a healthier alternative. you thoughts?

  • @stefanscally come back? why would want to come back? via mushrooms and one cave excursion i never want to go back to that world of darkness

  • In my experience, psychedelics have the benefit of giving one another perspective on something perceived at all times; one's view of reality. As an after thought, one gains great insight, but never knows full truth. In a sense, psychedelics drugs should be viewed as a tool. Meditation does not offer immediate enlightenment, but it helps. It is a vehicle. Drugs, when used properly, and as has been shown all throughout human history, do endow the user with a knowledge not common to everyone.

  • true that brother

  • Pray to Jesus and repent...thinkin is vain

Poverty? Are we our brother keeper?

    YES...

  • Right on man, good talk! I agree wholeheartedly. LSD and mushrooms indeed ignited the 60s revolution. There are definitely whole astonishing pieces of reality discovered and witnessed when the brain is given more psychotropics than itself produces. It is quite difficult not to fall in love with this reality because it is so unlike what we experience every day. There almost are no feelings. Just pure inter-connectedness, repetitive geo-metric patterns or life, god, and creation.

  • lol this dude is fucking cool

  • hes not saing hes gonna change the world, he is just scientifically and psychoanatycaly speaking on the effects of psychoactive drugs.

  • Of course, I did not change the world, nor will any of my future psychedelic endeavours. But, it certainly helps to change how I view and interact with the world and myself in a positive way. I think we just difer with the intent we have going into a 'trip'. I use with the intent of having an enlightening spiritual experience, and nothing else. You, I believe, have only used psychedelics for recreation. No harm in that. It just skews the experience in a way different from mine.

  • yeh we agree that you might have a great experience with it, but when you say things like ''the rewards are limitless.'' it just makes them drugs seem amazing to people who have never tryed them. Imagin someone who has never tried lsd having a bit to much, not know anything about it, it could be very dangerous.

  • From the opening of the post you just quoted me...... "After responsibly and thoroughly preparing myself for my most recent mushroom experience....". Due to the results of that experience, I highly recommend to all newbie psychonauts the following. BE RESPONSIBLE BY DOING SOME RESEARCH AND THOROUGHLY PREPARE AS I DID. Every experience I had prior was unsettlling, annoying and/or generally unfullfilling. Now that I know better, I'm actually very lucky that they were only as bad as they were.

  • totally wrong, one trip can change your entire outlook on life; can change your entire life course. psychedelics can have a profound effect on people.

  • right on!@shleeps it only take one trip! for sure before "entering this trip" i call it. my first "trip" before my enlightening on mushrooms i had a full blown colors, mentality, spirit... from a 5 hour cave tour. ive been forever changed and GREATFUL for this new world i am in ... caves and philosybin mushrooms! amazing

  • All truth.

  • After responsibly and thoroughly preparing myself for my most recent mushroom experience, I can personally now say that there is a profoundly distinct difference between it and every other psychedelic experience I've had prior. I had never dedicated myself to suggested physical, mental, emotional and spiritual preperations with such devout sincerity until this recent trip. If one is serious, does research, and is respectful, not abusive, of psychedelics, the rewards are limitless.

  • Blessings

  • well said. I agree.

  • young guys into this, I'm one too.

    Stay real. Peace!

  • To answer your question, psychedelics can and have been used in spiritual pursuits, thats what shamanism is, and I would argue, the root of all religion. Study shamanism, not just eastern mysticism.

  • i agree with you that psychadelics are sorta like "cheating," but its something that can open our mind to the path of oneness and sorta be used as a catalyst to move our inner energy to something of higher energy. do u have aim? i would love to talk to u or something.

  • aim: redliterocket4

  • @utubeisdi there are no rules, there is only outcome.

  • and i love your bacxkground music too :)

  • Was really impressed how you described insight. how consciousness 'repositions itself' cause it IS consciousness. Love how you described that.

I personally dont trust this 'enlightenment' goal. I ratrher feel its a more feeling into being real

  • i've got no problem with getting rid of that word "enlightenment." if anything, there is no such thing as a state of enlightenment. enlightenment is a process of awakening. process is the key word... it is not something we can "have" or "hold," it is an ongoing path.

  • Like water......:))) its late here, am gonna continue with your series tomorrow.

    Glad to meet you

  • Man you're one young dude for someone thats into this shit, you remind me of myself, but you're at least a couple of years younger, but u think almost identically to me (philosophically) when it comes to all these existential issues. Good on ya!

  • I've seen a former schoolmate who told me about his experiences similar to what you are telling transforming his mind to some higher stage, very impressive and prooving that it is similar to meditation.

I have no experience by myself, but I'm curious what the effects are on the way you interact with others.

Is there some kind of improvement or remains this transformation benefit all within yourself ?

  • As far as interacting with others... there is no one answer to that question. I've had experiences of alienation and nervousness, but I've also had tremendously barrier-shattering experiences of love and oneness. But I definitely think there is a benefit from using these substances in a responsible and skillful way. Mind expansion, not just to new ideas, but to new experiences, seems like an unequivocally good thing.

  • ps: what music is playing in the background

  • a track called "lotus" in iMovie on my Mac.

  • Some of the most significant scientific, technological, and cultural contributions have occurred as a direct result of LSD. Think of it's effect on the Beatles. Steve Jobs started the personal computer revolution and stated that LSD had a profound impact on his thinking prior to this. I forgot the guy's name but a scientist discovered the method of PCR when tripping on acid and driving along the California coast. Though I think psilocybin provides a more introspective experience

  • Francis Crick discovered the DNA molecule under the influence of LSD,
