@Ginga im saying all of the guys i listed are the top tier young point guards in the league. Jennings isnt that good in my books I mean he shoots like .37% thats pretty bad if he doesnt develop a better passing game and shoot at least in the .400 hes just going to be known as a chucker.

To watch a 19yr old kid single-handedly shut down Monta Ellis,Mo Williams and Delonte West was truly amazing.

Don't get me wrong Ty Lawson is good,but he is not even on the same planet as Jrue when it comes to playing defense.

Lawson might have the quickness,but Holiday is not a slow poke,and Holiday has the size(6'4") and plamaking ability to be a top notch pg for a long time.

I felt Ty Lawson was the better fit for the 76ers because of his speed and passing ability. Holiday seems ok but he lacks speed. He seems more like a combo guard as opposed to Lawson who is known to be a pure PG. Give him a chance though, he could turn out to be a solid NBA player. His upside looks good!! Andre Miller looks like he's on his way out so Holiday will likely be the starting PG from day 1.

Lou Who? Louis Williams ain't starting over Jrue. I'm pretty sure the decision was made on Draft day when the Sixers decided to go with Jrue Holiday over Ty Lawson. At the end of the day, Iguodala is the star on that team. With that being said, the offense will be ran threw him anyway. They didn't draft that man over Ty Lawson to sit him down and bring him in off the bench. Anything is possible, but I just don't see it happening bro!!

They drafted Jrue over lawson because Jrue's celing could be higher. Lawson doesn't have as much potential and when you have a 500 club that keeps on getting mediocre picks, you need to take a risky pick like jrue in the draft, based on potential alone. Sixers just can't keep drafting medocre players around 15-19 every year and expect to be good. Jrue could start on day one but im almost positive it will be someone else. Throwing in a raw rookie like him in will only spell disaster.

How do you figure Lawson is a mediocre draft pick with less potential?? Ty Lawson had a solid college career and was a stud at NC. He played there 3 years. He averaged 16 pts, 6 ast, and 2 stls in his junior year. Ain't nothing mediocre about his game. It was a toss up between Lawson and Holiday. Unfortunately the Sixers went with Holiday. Only time will tell us who turns out to be the better Draft Pick. I know one thing, Lawson is going to learn a lot from Chauncey Billups.

Mediocre as in usually players picked in the mid to late teens don't pan out. Fortunatly Jrue fell to us and while yes hes not as good as Lawson right now, Jrue could be a lot better than Lawson because hes younger and has more potential. Yes time will tell but I think the sixers got this one right again. They said his attiude and work ethic was just like Youngs, which was another reason they drafted him. Not to mention lawson will always be a liability on defense...Jrue is already very good.

it affected his production because he had to play off the ball. jrue is the kind of player that commands the ball and has the offense run through him. he committed to ucla with the idea that he would be running point when collison left, but darren ended up staying one more year. his production last season does not reflect how good he is. he's considered to be a lottery picked based on potential, same with jenning. BJ's stats in europe didn't wow anybody, but he's projected the same way jrue is.
