i always look on CL for these parts and buy them up, now a front swap is a different story, people think their shit is gold and ask a premium for a complete front end ie. upper&lower triple tree, clipons w/accesories, fender, tire, caliper w/brake-line, reservoir and forks, cheaper and better to just go to the auction and buy a salvaged bike for $500 with a good front end

Not that bad on price a ZX6 swingarm 05+ can be regualarly found for $50 bucks complete with chain, chainguard, shock, a rear tire for the ZX6 can be found for under $200 with sprocket and rotor, then a caliper and bracket "if not included with swingarm" can be found for under $50, fucking easy swap too,

@planeteclipse7 Seeing how there is no reply from him about how he "doubled" the power I doubt he did. To double the power it would be putting out 64HP from a 250cc motor...that is a full on race engine since it's a 4 stroke and would probably have to rev out to 19,000rpms to make that power...

@Riujinzero there are Dyno movies on youtube from Ninja 250r's in Jakarta that make over 60hp (rear wheel), they are turbo bikes however, we tune our non-turbo 250's to about 40hp.

@planeteclipse7 the R9 exhaust add just a few hp, to get our ninja 250's up in power output we usually upgrade the machine's displacement up to 280-300cc, ported heads, different cams, lifters etc. 40hp is easy. In Indonesia there is nothing uncommon about it, the 250 is a common bike here.

The logical choice is to tune and visually modify a 250, because that's the largest you can still get without issues.
