  • Obama replaces the national day of prayer with the Moslem day of prayer. Obama says that the Moslem prayer is the most beautiful thing he has ever heard. Obamas policies are against Israel.  Really, would a Christian do these things?

  • One thing not mentioned in this video is the fact that the U.S. Imports 3 times as much as it Imports from China. I you ran a business where you bought 3 times as much as you sold you'd be out of business ( like our economy is) in no time. Our trade agrements needs to be revamped and updated to help us prosper, not the other countries bleeding us dry.

  • @DarkFutureAhead Ron Paul can't do a thing significant until the people of each state cut their representatives loose from outside big money control. Every thing they do in Washington is bought and paid for by money outside their state.

  • A major problem of our economy for the past 15 years has been low interest rates. Low interest rates are responsible for an economy overly focussed on technology development at the expense of everything else. When it is too cheap to borrow money, businesses will purchase capital instead of employing people. It destroys any incentive for Americans to save money and invest it in new businesses, as well as keeping foreign investment away from American enterprises.

  • The same as defeating any other socialist dictator but we do have a vote and we do have true the vote as well volunteer to be poll watchers in november and never play the race card or accept the crap that goes with it

  • Big money controls who we are allowed to vote for. The whole election system is like a running wheel in a hamster cage. It is what big money behind the Republican and Democratic parties give the people to give them a way to work of some energy and think they are really getting somewhere. When this thing crashes, the Tea Party will be the scapegoat. Mark my word.

  • Nothing in Washington will change until the people of each state finds a way to gain control over their representatives. The only way that will happen is for the people of each state to gain control over the election process of their state. That means blocking outside money getting evolved. No outsiders should be allowed to participate in an election other than the state they live in. Come on Bill. Come up with some solutions to fix the problems you pontificate on.

  • If a state elects a prostitute, or a high school drop out, we would be better off having them than the lo life swindlers and traitors that are winding up in Washington. As long as the country is voting any party candidate we will get no representation. If the courts try to get in the way, we need to stand up to them and insist that these people are suppose to represent the people in that state and we have a right to tell them what to do.

  • Then destroy the committee system in congress. Allow no outside money to come into each state. Each state must finance its own elections. Let any body that wants to run for office. If 1000 sigh up to run, give each person 15 minutes of air time and then vote on the best 100. The give each of them 30 minutes of public airtime. Narrow that down to the top 10 and give them 1 hour each. out of those pick the number winner to send to Washington. If one state could accomplish this, others would follow

  • Bill, I applaud you that you are trying to do something for our country. But let's face it, you are only telling everybody what is wrong that everybody already knows. You are coming up with no strategics to return control of the country to the people. Here is one.

    Each state must pass state laws dictating what their federal representatives can and cannot do. I can hear the screaming already. Nothing in Washington will change until this happens. Then destroy the lobby industry for starters.

I have a RIGHT to lobby my representatives up there. I go and I respectfully speak whether they agree with me or not. The word "lobbying" has gotten a bad rep. I read a book called, "Lobbying and Policy Change: Who Wins, Who Loses, and Why" Wild Bill suggested I read it and I did. I suggest you at least read about it.

They write their own bills and pay to get them passed from every industry there is.   • @johnesquire How on earth can we provide for the general welfare if we tax and regulate our businesses and jobs out of our country? How do we maintain our liberty if we have no jobs? Once our government has driven the rest of our jobs to China, how are we to stand an army in order to protect our nation? Build roads? Maintain our electrical systems? Without business, nothing else works.

  • @sortathesame @WildBillforAmerica -- Interesting since the whole US revolution was brought about by government regulations that put the interests of a particular company, the East India Trading Company, ahead of the people - search boston tea party east india trading company. I'm all for business having a level playing field but current tax policy and regulations favor certain companies and individuals over others (mostly the largest and richest). I also sort of like clean air, etc.

Since the removal of capital controls under Reagan and Clinton, employment flight has increased under every president since. (That is because there is only one party in the US, the property party, with two right-wings.) Obama is Bush III--a corporate plutocrat; except for gays and the military, no US policy has changed.

    I did "Big 5" corporate strategy for the F500; I know of what I speak. NO US multinational pays anything close to Federal tax rates. Have heard of capital dead zones? These are areas where multinationals can derive income without incurring tax liability. On a local level, big businesses negotiate "trade zones" with state governments that eliminate, reduce or postpone tax liability.

    US job loss is mostly profit from wage equalization.

  • @0gods We are a capitalist nation that cannot compete with Chinese or Vietnamese people who will work for a head of cabbage a day. That's not a problem with the flow of capital. That is the result of a nation where 47% don't pay federal taxes and 48% are on the public dole in one form or another who lack the vision and curiosity to better themselves. Capitalism isn't perfect, I'll grant that, but it sure beats 2nd place. A huge part of the problem lets not forget is corruption in DC too!

Over the past 30 years, for example, the US IT industry has been devastated by outsourcing to India through non-enforcement/deregulation of the H1 visa program. The intent of the program was to allow US companies to hire human capital it could not find in the domestic labor market. But it has been abused, according to the department of commerce, to outsource 860,000 jobs from 99-09 and to allow companies to hire 2.6MM abroad.

The only problem is that the American industries lobbied congress to pass the trade agreements that guaranteed them the freedom to tear down their plants, reassemble them in other countries had have an open door to import their goods. The American people will have to shut down the lobby industries, regain control of their representatives to reverse this situation.

The goal of the socialist Left is to subject all citizen to government control.   • The Chinese Opportunity zones are not a goo d deal. basic warehousing space is $3 a square foot, and the power is unstable. the only reason companies use it is because the import taxes are so high in China it is cheaper to manufacture in China. Companies are pulling out of china because it is getting too expensive in china. over the last 2 years Korean and Japanese companies have been leaving in droves.

In my opinion we do not need 900 bases throughout the world and we can't afford it. Our technology allows us to have masses anywhere within 36 hours. Our nuclear subs are everywhere. His foreign policy would lead to another gulf war if not world war. He just said in SC he supports nullification. Thats insane not to mention illegal. If we had the right congress (both houses) and president Paul, Rubio or Bachmann and maybe Santorum we'd be one heck of a lot better off than we are now. Gingerich or Romney (for sure!) I doubt would be much of a step forward but at least they're directionally right. But in the end, I'll 'settle' for 20% of what I want rather than 100% of what I don't. Does that make any sense?

  • @bjeweled21 Ron Paul is pretty much right on with economics but that's it in my book. Smaller .gov in itself is NOT the answer. Strict adhearence to our divinely inspired US Constitution IS the answer. Under that, as you may know, the .gov has few and limited powers, all else is vested in the states and the poeple thereof. It WORKS that way for a God fearing nation of Christians, not a dumbed down, degerate welfare state. You can't talk politics with someone who has their hand out!

  • @GodFamilyCountryCorp What a stupid statement. The Chinese food driver is an employee in America enjoying the protections from his employer he would not enjoy in China. In fact the restaurant is invested in the American economy and not the Chinese one. Maybe he's smiling because he's glad he at least makes a minimum wage which he wouldn't get in China.
