  • that's my kung fu brother in shanghai master Ma is tossing around! he sang at my party after i became a disciple....he's quite the cut up after a few beers...and my teacher Dr. Li in the maroon sweater behind him laughing...love it..... too funny

  • Ma was one of the few tai chi practicers who master Si Men Jin. admiring...

I hope I can master Jin one day.

  • la cagóooooooooooo

  • Вот бред)))) Любят азиаты мистики добавить, как дети)))

  • I don't question that Master Ma "takes the spine" of his opponent, or denigrate his skill in any way, but the way the students go running, stumbling, and hopping across the floor off of the slightest wiggling of his fingers just makes this demo (as well as many others) look stupid and fake; they ruin the demo. I've pushed hands with some great masters, and have been off balanced with gentle touches many times, but I didn't go flying unless they gave me genuine An Jin. (Which also happened! )

  • @IronPalm You've pushed hands with some great masters but not many of the great masters out there have had this skill passed on to them. Trust me, if you push hands with any of the guys who have this skill....There's no telling what kind of stupid looking jumps, backwards running, twists, turns or screams you'll be making.

  • @jasma98 - Ah, back to the old "magic skill that was only passed on to select few that defies the laws of physics and common sense". I fell for this concept for longer than I care to admit, and it wasn't until I tasted the skill of some genuine masters who kindly explained to me that martial arts operates within the laws of physics and not contrary to them was I able to see this for what it is - nonsense. Skilled master no doubt; but the demo dummies make it look poor.

  • @IronPalm Ha ha ah. It's not a magic skill. Do your research and you will see that it's quite likely that Yang Cheng fu only passed the full transmission to a limited number of people. His first son Yang Zhen Ming/ Yeung Sau Chung who was his assistant instructor and literally a handful of disciples. You should know that only the disciples or family get the full transmission. Yang Zhen Ming only had 3 disciples and 3 daughters. There are many students and instructors but not many disciples.

  • @IronPalm Your kindly masters, although no doubt genuine, have given you miss information. Taijiquan does operate within the laws of physics but is not bound by the laws stated by man. instead, it follows the principles of nature some of which have been observed and understood by man some are still undiscovered. (yet they exist) Some have been discovered but as yet have no scientific explanation. It's nonsense to you because to you it makes no sense. Doesn't mean it's not true or real. Respect.

  • THANKS!!! Love this vid......sooo good.

  • I wish this guy or any of his student would go up for MMA. I'm sure they would do some magic.

  • Fake

  • veo que el humano prefiere negar lo que no comprender como una manera de sentirse un poco menos vulnerable en un mundo totalmente incierto.

  • FAKE!!!! point.

  • @sombras1981

Sorry, you are WRONG! Touch his son Ma Jiangbao (if you get the opportunity) and you will feel, that the ground on which you stood is awy. And Ma had not even moved!

  • @wolkenhand I'm sorry but no matter how much I want believe this is 'real'... I can't. When you look closely every time he's 'blown' away you see he first shifts his weight in the direction he's going to jump. And he does it by himself! You can see it by the movements of his front leg, the knee, the foot and everything... His balance isn't disturbed by any other influences.

  • @wolkenhand And btw ever heard of the laws of motion from Newton? And if it exists, how come there aren't any 'ki users' participating in renowned tournaments? Am I blind, or did I just open your eyes...?

  • Hi, it seems, that he shifts

his weight in the direction he is blown.

And YES you are right. One law in good

pushhands is: Not to go against his force.

The questions are: Does he realize

himself, that he shifts?...Does MYL force

him to shift, even if you do not see it?

  • @BloodyForger

    I

study with his son Ma Jiangbao and i can

tell you, that you lose any control of your

body as soon as he touches you. What

then follows is an "icedance" not to loose

balabnce an to fall. And the only thing

you see is that look on your collar with

    this smile on his face.

  • @wolkenhand So, you're saying he takes control of your nerves/brains? Awesome, what are the principles behind it? Nonesense?

  • @BloodyForger

Hi again. Please help me finding my statement that he is taking control of nerves/brain? I did not even speak about qi. This is high skill in mechanics.

Watch beginners trying to balance on a rope. See how they fly. And....the rope is passive , Ma Yueh Liang not :-) I

  • @wolkenhand another vague answer... see my reaction on actofbalance

  • @BloodyForger

everything is already mentioned. Go and find a good taichi guy and feel it. If you don't know anyone in your neighbourhood, tell me, maybe I can help.

  • @wolkenhand Hmmm..Are you being sarcastic,as far as martial goes never think you are better than anyone, for how can you be better than yourself.no me,no you, just consciousness. There is nothing ever but mind,my mind is your mind.In another state how could they be different.Martial is beyond words, and consciousness is devastating, just look at the control society has on the people, and our minds when we think we are above someone else.As long as war exists in our minds, the fight is not over.:):):):)

  • @BloodyForger

R U as silly & stupid as you sound? Or worse? WHEW!!!

  • @BloodyForger Maybe not blind, just a bit ignorant. Someone who has practiced for nearly hundred years have skills you can never imagine. Like a really skillful worker that cut fish for example, you can hardly see what they are doing because they do it to well.

  • @BloodyForger By the way, ki is japanese, Chinese version is Qi. You does not seam to undertand what is behind the word. By the way, have you heard of Newton's cradle? What if the ball would hit a brick wall, do you not think it would bounce back?

  • @actofbalance You can't compare this with the situation of the bouncing ball you mentioned. There is no collision at all, so why does the 'ball' bounce away? You suggest that I don't understand ki? Maybe, I think it's very vague, so you tell me what ki/qi is? Is it a totally different force than muscles? Spiritual energy from the earth? Magic? Power of the mind which allows you to control the senses of the opponent which causes an 'icedance' (wolkenhand)

  • @BloodyForger I can compare it with a ball. because that is what happen, or you compare it with pool playing. Whaever angel the "attack" comes from, the ball will act differently and take different directions. Qi/Ki is not just muscles, not just spiritual force, not magic. Qi of the body is the expression of all physiological actions, not only the muscles even it the action of the muscles is one type of Qi but not the full picture.

  • @actofbalance Look, what I'm trying to say is that when that guy gets launched backwards there should be an equal force acting on that old guy. Yet he remains standing. My question is: How? looking at his stance he could not possibly have made use of gravity like they do in eastern martial arts.

  • @BloodyForger From this comment I can see you do not have any experience with taiji. On big part of it is to lead the energy down in the ground and then up and out again. A well trained practitioner knows how to do this and do it in a way that it does not show. also that is the purpose of push hands as in this video, to learn how to absorb or avoid the energy from the other person and act on it. See Koitchi Tohei when he withstand a push while standing on one leg where he uses same mechanism.

  • @actofbalance /watch?v=rh1nj74kRA8&feature=related I know that mechanism and this is what that looks like

  • @BloodyForger Yes, and that is the same guy as in this video.

  • @BloodyForger As well as you can learn to take the pulse and feel different strength, different depth and speed of the pulse. you can also learn to feel and act on other physiological functions, like muscle force, tension, direction of a movent etc. I can only imagine how refined sences you can have after practicing for 80 years. It is not magic to learn how to do things well.

  • @BloodyForger 1st, "Newton's Laws hold only with respect to a certain set of frames of reference called Newtonian or inertial reference frames". Perhaps you should study them more deeply before making reference to them in supporting your arguments in future. 2nd, Most guys don't start tai chi until their 30's. It takes at least 10 years to be skilled enough to use this skill in real time combat. Who wants to enter tournaments when in their 40's? Are you blind? will you ever open your eyes?

  • I have seen these types of demos by MANY masters. Many of them are also on Youtube. I have seen many live and on instructional video tapes. I have YET TO SEE a single demo such as this done a skeptical stranger. If a power to move man with no touch is possible, shouldn't it be researched? Unless this has been so debunked over the years no one bothers to even research it.

  • MAfanatic,

He did not actually push the guy away and make him jump. He just unbalance the guy. When a person is unbalanced just a little bit over the equilibrium position and start to fall off, it's one's natural reaction to jump to counter the falling off movement.

  • Reageren op deze video...

Dude, don't make me laugh! 'just a little bit over the equilibrium position'? He acts as if a bull just crashed into him!

  • @MAfanatic

research does not make it clearer, because you can not do it after you researched it :-) You have to practise every day.

Did you ever try to research picasso's hand to become a better painter?

  • dont understand how this can be real

  • very fine body mechanics, nothing mystical

  • well, this is what i think about that. Take a look:

    /watch?v=gEDaCIDvj6I

  • ah come on, the difference between this and the kiai master is:

taijiquan practitioners are really good fighters and have won national fighting competitions in china, whereas the fake idiot from the other vid could just throw his students through the room.

the skills that ma yue liang shows in this video can not directly be translated into fighting, it´s just a training for sensibility,

  • @Rikaruro

the problem is, that in taiji things like taking off the eyes, breaking knee etc. are not only allowed but teached! And this guy is NOT a representative taiji-master. so anyone who is taking a sportfight is not a real soldier.

  • So powerful fa jin... I'd like to experience that.

  • well that man was a student of Ma's from what i can tell. if not he would not have been able to keep his feet those few times.

sifu has to tell you how to stay up & u must practice this or u will fall each time.

  • hahaha :)

Ma was the best, can u see the size of his smile as he plays with this guy?

poor guy cant believe what hes experiencing, look how he walks back each time, defiant at first, then confused, then just flat on his arse lol :)

    stunning clip, thank you..

  • @OldWuStyle --Stunning yes. I'm still waitin to see the gracies do that.

  • master

  • 对不起,我不知道。

  • 請問馬老師的對手是否陳兆毛?
