Yes unions are to blame for most of the state and private failures. In 1979 I knew a HS dropout convicted felon that got a $20/hr (that’s like 50/hr now) job with his dad in the steel mills. The only thing he did was push a button to open a gate about 5 TIMES A DAY. The rest of the time he slept. Around that time is when all the steel manufacturing went to Japan.
