capt.chancey travis did not develop that style of rod. they have been around forever no one has ever marketed them because it is some thing different. so please do not say he has developed a new style rod when he hasnt. last acid wrapped rod i got from the line started sawing through the blank due to bad guide placement.

It's called the Acid wrap design. This style helps clients with torque issues caused by the natural bend in the rod.
