  • On what? Three routes? The overlap is minimal. And Delta's primary source of income isn't necessarily int'l, but rather domestic flights.

  • Delta you have to make these items free to maintain parity with competing carriers...sorry!

  • wow 0:26 is too much food for me!

  • every other lounge in the world seems to have food for free

  • So you pay $450 (plus $50 initiation) for 1 yr membership and then you charge for meager food and formally free drinks? Delta you are way disappointing me. The Virgin Clubhouse has all of that in a nicer lounge and they charge zip. So much for being competitive.

  • @Glencie It's better than AA and UA. Should I even mention US?

  • @Glencie DL isn't comparable to VS, they are two wholly different companies. VS is a long-haul British carrier with a simplified, small route network whereas DL is a US full-service carrier with an expansive route network and massive, complex fleet. Delta is not here to compete with VS, but more with companies comparable to it (ie UA/CO, AA, and maybe US). Full meals in airline clubs in US airlines is very rare, even at a price, so here, this is/was a big innovation/experiment.

  • @sky30394 Two things. DL IS competing at JFK with VS, BA and all the long-haul carriers serving it. It's their transatlantic hub. When people go on Kayak or something to choose a JFK-LHR flight, they'll see VS and DL (along with AA, BA and UA) itineraries pop up, frequently with the same exact fares. The premium passengers will then weigh the benefits of each carrier. In the case of clubs, VS trounces DL.

Secondly, DL has ended their "restaurant" option in the JFK sky clubs.

  • Delta I love you always... But that food; come on now - will not satisfy :(

  • 0:26 that looks filling

  • ewww id puke on that food!!

  • Great Presentation. My "WISHLIST" would be to see TVs installed on your Domestic Flights.

No matter who's the largerst Carrier in the World, my choice will always be Delta!

  • Buisness and First passengers only? Or economy too?

  • @airplanegod International BusinessElite, transcontinental First Class and full Economy (Y class), SkyTeam Elite Plus (including DL Diamond Medallion or Platinum Medallion) on an international flight, or SkyClub member (membership ranges from $300-$450 per year depending on your status with Delta).

  • @alaskanjackal Thanks!
