Hard to believe that in real life he is kinda backward, shy, and unsure of himself- what most performers don't realize is that these strong characters, really are a part of their psyche that the actor just hasn't been able to consciously tap into. Being an actress myself I play great evil roles and am considered an angel in real life, and the fact is that I could act like those evil characters if pushed in real life. you should watch jason isaacs "through the eyes of capt. hook" ( found on youtube) he takes a camera round the set and makes random funny remarks his amazing personality really shines through, not shy at all!

Well he is such an angel when he plays the good guys but he is the bad, irresistible daredevil when he plays the bad guys. This is pure good acting skills. Without him, these movies would be nothing.

In this clip he is lip-syncing to Frank Sinatra. But I heard him sing in the behind the scenes material, and I've also heard him sing in Peter Pan and Capital City. He said in an interview that he sings like a cat with a hernia :D I think he's OK, from the little I've heard... Pretty good for a person who isn't a professional singer. That's what I think, but I'm no singing-expert :)

It depends on what you like... I will say that it's not a mainstream movie... and it's also very violent. I thought it was all right, but some parts of it lost my attention. The entire clip from the two singing and dancing scenes is uploaded on youtube If you search "The Last Minute Jason Isaacs". That will give you an idea on how the film is too.

I know... I started to collect his films/tv series a year ago, and a lot of his work isnt't even released in my country... He isn't a typical blockbuster film actor. My patient and hard work payed off in the end :D Now, I have a lot of the things that he has done. In some of the DVDs, he's only in for about 5- 10 minutes. There are many people out there that are more experts on his career than I am, but If you got any questions, I'm happy to answer them if I can. :)

I think it's really good. It's a black comedy, and it sure make me laugh. Jason Isaacs plays a really "juicy" carchter in it. David Thewlis (Lupin in HP) is the lead...
