  • hmz Cause life is a game

  • hiya sensual girl here just for you baby

  • ehm i will make you doing things that you never thought that you will do

  • That guy could have swerved to avoid that crash if only he had stayed at a Holiday Inn Express Track.

  • 5 star crash safety rating

  • I am quite aware of how black and white film should look, feel and sound, however, it was my purpose to turn this short film into one with sound and background music, count yourself fortunate that I didn't colorize it. Again, I appreciate your innterest in what I have done

  • @geraldprowles Aren't black and white indeed colors?

  • Why did u add Bad Sounds? not the music but the stupud whistle, and chuffing, it just sounds crappy and toyish

  • @trainlover479 -solution, turn off your speakers, thank you for youur interest

  • @geraldprowles dude, i am sorry, but a silent film in the 1800's should just have black and white film and piano music, not sounds u found in a game. trust me i know more about these things than you.

  • Well, I say old chap, it appears you have gone and fucked up my Christmas!

  • Lol

  • These train drivers really had nothing to do those days.

  • - BLOODY HELL!! Sir Reginald!! The brakes seem to have stopped working!

    - Why yes, indeed they have!

    - Why do you suppose so!?

    - O, who knows perhaps we broke it during our last tea party?

    - Quite right, quite right, well I'll just deal with what we have and stay here, carry on Sir Reginald.

    - Thank you sir, O my it seems that there is another train aproaching...

    - O.O - O, my.........indeed..........and theres no brakes......

    - O.O - quite right...quite right..........O.O O.O

  • This looks painful for the stunt drivers.

  • AND THIS IS WHAT HAPENS IS TWO TRAINZ TRY TO KISS EACH OTHER :P

  • how many died?

  • Haha just keep hittin 6 !!!

  • when it crashes at 0:30 the wheels on the carriage keep going while the carroage stops

  • When did this happen?

  • @Dinosorable -1905

  • clip video

  • What's this music?

  • @xuan4319 I have no idea what the music is, it is something I found on the internet that I thought would fit with the video and after looking at it again I am not sure I would use the same music. This music I thought was as close as I was going to get to early black and white silent film music, sorryy I can not answer your question and thanks for your interest.

  • That one dude standing 100 feet from impact @ 0:33 sure had a death wish.

Game of "chicken." Guess both engineers swerve in the same direction the the last second.

  • russian porn music

  • Whenever I see black and white crashes, I always expect someone to get hit in the face with a pie and slip on a banana skin.

  • the big kaboom

  • RMT STRIKE EVERYBODY OUT BOB CROW WAS RIRHT ABOUT SAFETY

  • did anyboy die?

  • • Watch the Runaway Train video on this channel. Train was started by a 5 year old boy at the controls.

  • YAAAAY SADISM

  • That was a pretty awesome crash.

  • Texting while driving.

  • Hahahaha...stuff go BOOM!

    funny

  • lol

  • lol

  • talkin on cell phones,geez

  • Spectacular video!!! xxD

  • @JoeyDPro2009 American trains are way better and more powerful, while UK train are weak and looks like dildos on wheels.

  • @npr101010 American trains are NOT the only trains in the world.....just look around you and you might realise how arrogant you really are!!! You seem to be forgetting that the first working steam locomotives were not built in America but in Britain, and it was that country that was known for manufacturing some of the best rolling stock in the world!!!!!

  • @helios180746 They may have been first made there but calling them the best in a matter of opinion. In fact if remember correctly we made the biggest, most advanced, and most powerful locomotives in the world. Starting way back in the steam era.

  • @IllinoisTrains1 Of course....the U.S wins again!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • @IllinoisTrains1 most biggest and most powerful yes but certainly not the most advanced. also which steam loco currently holds the steam world speed record

  • @meme43211 More advanced in what sense? Plus the Mallard reached that speed DOWN HILL on a special train just for the event. It all matters when the locomotive is on a regular train.

  • @IllinoisTrains1 i think i should point out that the train mallard was pulling was not intended to set a new record the train was intended to test a new design of high speed brakes and mallard happened to set a new speed record for steam when doing the test run. your steam engines were built with sheer power in mind were as British steam engines were build to pull trains at high speeds and thus needed a more advanced design for instanced a number of British locos could pick up water on the move.

  • @meme43211 Hate to burst you bubble but American locomotives could pick up water on the move also. Two examples are the J class 4-6-4 Hudsons of the NYC and the PRR's K4s class 4-6-2 Pacifics. Both of those locomotives were designed to operate at high speeds and they are not the only ones. The Milwaukee Road Hiawatha trains often operated over 100 mph.

  • awesome crash

  • American Trains Are Just A Waste Of Steel And Iron, Whereas Trains In The UK Are Beautiful Things

  • this video is in ac dc video clips.

  • Primitive Euro-NCAP crash test.

  • BRAVO!! HERE, HERE!

  • look at 0:12 - 0:19 march 21,2007

  • Fail.

  • Did you see that guy standing what looked to be about a hundred feet away on the left with a camera. What a fool and an Idiot!!!!! hope he got his pictures without getting hurt to bad. I guess they all miscalculated the aftermath on this one.

  • now this is a classic

  • The captcha was Agishoser. to remember that too.

  • is this the ancient fail blog? it would be nice if we were in 2120 and view old fossil videos from youtube on our peta hertz palm laptops that project screen in thin air. and laugh at videos from fail blog. I gonna say hi to my future self. remember my fossil comment

  • Great stuff

  • Awesome

  • nice video! This was a fairly common form of entertainment in the 1920's. show operators would buy old locos and cars and stage head-on collisions.... too dangerous today, the liability lawyers would kill it and make millions......

  • Was that Casey Jones?

  • no he ran into a back of a train in 1900

  • lol whats the use to blow horn in this case!!! anyways none of them going to leave the track...

  • it's called humor.

  • ok ..thanz for letting me know...

  • LOOOOL it's balo! xD

  • ыв

  • LOL only in america whould you get 2 dudes playing chicken in trains....dumb ass's

  • @couger911 only in some country like yours you mean? lol =[ dont reply back if your gonna try to argue over the internet because its a waste of my time

  • i think a waste of your time whould be your reply! i cant understand it for shit

  • @couger911 it must be your stupidity as to why you cant understand something like that.

  • lol go away fanny flaps, your a fucking Douche

  • @couger911 calling me fanny flaps....haha and you are the one with couger in your name and you cant even spell right and yet you use the word douche meaning brainless learn the meaning of the word before you say it, well anyways just dont reply because i have had enough, messing with your head is just to easy.

  • LooooL

  • LOL

  • MA VAFFANCULO

  • Gino non stupirono a quello.

  • No people were harmed in the making of this film. Steam Engines however are a different story.

In the early days of Hollyweird, old steam locamotives would be used for scenes such as this. When the rail roads no longer needed a steamer, it would be sold or scrapped. In this case, both.

  • Oh! Poppycock. Why I say, we seemed to have crashed!

Indeed, indeed. It seems we have good sir. Jolly good.

  • seems one of the engineers got his knickers in a bunch.

  • did they die or what?

  • very good

  • lol there nubs

  • umm boss the train has a steam leak

  • bah....

  • ops!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • if you see and other train come and you will fly away take upp some beans and and egg andother thing that make you fart fly

  • .........fail.......

  • Puuuh!

  • Google The Great Crush Collision and you'll find a march composed by Scott Joplin commemorating this 1896 stunt.

  • to bad !!

  • Not to worry -- at the last minute, the hoghead dumped the air and joined the birds before the ballast scorchers cornfielded and went on the ground! Consult your Railroadese-English dictionary folks ... but the engineer is ok.

  • now I know who stole my nephew's toys.

  • hat off to those two brave stuntmen ,no protective clothing ( except the funny hat) way to go boys

  • Nice test :D

  • ...scary stuff when you consider what can happen when trains really do and can crash?

  • From what I remember hearing about this story is that it was like a pay per view of it's day. People bought tickets to see the crash. But the people promoting it didn't realize that when the engineers jumped off the trains that the boiler pressure would not be regulated, and when the trains actually crashed the onlookers were hit with shrapnel from the boilers exploding.

  • that was actualy the crash of crush in west texas in 1896 a man from dallas texas got some old steam engines and sold tickets to come see a amazing crash 40,000 people came many people died ive actualy been to the place it happend there is also a song by my friend brian burns called the crash of crush you can find it on youtube.

  • @cncdude1 You are right and few of those viewer were killed also

And that is why this stunt was banned forever

  • @USMANchampNO1That's a bit misleading. This sort of stunt was done quite often, for large state fairs and the like. As they say, people all paid admittance to sit in a grandstand (behind the cameras) to enjoy a spectacle. For a graphic description, google "Crash at Crush" to read about one near Waco, TX in 1896 that killed quite a few spectators. What was funny in that particular one is that it was staged to publicize a sagging rr company (the Katy line), and it succeeded in doing that.

  • @cncdude1 thats why it stooped after 1908, but i would have loved to have seenone of these staged crashes

  • whats the point of this crash ? is it accident ?

  • luv this vid

  • Was he scalded to death in the steam?

  • why was he just sitting there run doumbass run

  • I'd jump out :P

  • Comment removed

  • What a load of smelly pants!

  • This is why train drivers shouldn't play 'chicken' (nobody can turn at the last minute!... duh...) :)

  • This is very old film footage of a staged crash. Nobody was hurt. Its a movie ok? The engineer was filmed separately for those who still don't get it.

  • Ok, the description reads, "A 30 second black and white train crash of old locomotives."

Technically, you're correct, there were 2 locos.

I was hoping for lots of old locomotives crashing! What a letdown :-(

  • its plural, which could mean 2

  • Yeah, technically, but I think you know what I mean :-P

  • ya my bad i do no what u mean i was just being pissy

  • No prob, elgandos2. You could've said worse lol

  • This happened right about where I'm sitting in Sacramento.

It was part of the Cal. State Fair.

    YeeHaw!

  • haha! that operator was like the guy that got steamrolled in austin powers, noooooooooooo!! squaaaaassshh!!

    womp womp womp wooommmmp

  • disturbedone5009: "It's not like the movie would be any worse if they let the car survive."

    Are you serious???

  • So you think that destroying a classic car that is no longer in production makes the movie that much better?

If they are kits or mock ups then I don't care but the real thing should be kept in working condition.

  • ha!

  • you think the engineers died?

  • thats a cool song lala lal la... ähh la!

  • Comment removed

  • Hey! the opening to Headbanger's Ball!

  • well one thing is for sure, if you are operating any other vehicle and see someone coming your way, all you have to do is get OUT of the way. Train operators are just fucked

  • lol

  • too bad the whole shit should BLOW UP

  • steam engines aren't flammable, just the coal which doesn't have any kick. hope youre not in the engineering field lol

  • Thw wooden cars are EXTREMELY flammable, and the engines would be a ticking time bomb, if a valve blew, boom.

  • lolololol

    priceless!!!

  • i wonder how much those locomotives would be worth today if they were still running and they just slam them together for fun.

  • Think of that when you look at an SD40-2. Now, they're slowly going away, still number huge, but in 100 years how many will be left?

  • Yeah seriously. Like how in the 50s there were a lot of M1903 Springfield rifles and Kar98ks that were brought back from WW2 so people cut them up for hunting and now they go for $500+.

  • same goes for nowdays crashtests! ;)

  • Well those things are still under production. They do those for safety so they are necessary. The thing I hate the most is most action movies they wreck a classic car. Something that is not in production anymore so that destroys a few of the limited number of cars out there.

  • 90% of the time they are destroying kits or mockups. A good example is the Ferrari in the chase scene in The Rock. It was a fibreglass fake. Same with tanks, etc. in war movies.

  • I heard they rebuild cars that would end up in the scrap yard anyways. But if the movie makers can rebuild them why not a citizen who isn't going to destroy it.

Hopefully they are not the real thing. It really pisses me off to see it. Its not like the movie would be any worse if they let the car survive.

  • "Hopefully they are not the real thing. "

As highroller48 says, they are not. In fact, the movie production doesn't even buy the cars driven; they lease them from enthusiasts who collect, restore and maintain them to lease to movie productions, the funds to do this coming from the demand from movie productions for period vehicles.

The movie industry itself (and their insurers) have a vested interest in preserving fine old cars, to continue making movies with them.

  • well, what i tried to say with the one line i left, was, that back in the they, such a train wasn´t a big deal.like today - we wreck things for testing and maybe some of our nowday cars will be worth a million or so, in 100 years.

are you sure, that they wreck original classic cars for movies?i guess they allways rebuild them and use only a copy for wrecking.everything else would be more than stupid.

  • happens to me all the time when i ride the train.

  • Very expensive test to prove that two trains traveling on the same track with the same weight and speed but opposite directions will stop in the exactly collision point.

  • Why would a train come apon another train like that? Weird.

  • It was staged, i believe in 1909, i believe that a couple of people where killed from falling parts

  • yes, the Crash at Crush (in Texas). 50,000 peeps showed up for the crash, 2 died from shrapnel when one of the train boilers blew up

  • haha

  • 0:31

    HANG ON EVERYONE.

  • BACK TO THE FUTURE!

  • What is dude?

  • ROFL!

  • Spectacular sight, it is! I'd thank you for putting up this video. I wanted to see the olden day, crash, organized for the public.

  • people in the early 1900s were so fucking retarded, no wonder people lived to be like only 50

  • OWED!!!!!!

  • mother ...SPAMER!

  • and who writes this crap will get in hell for sure

  • i woulda been like fuck this and bail.lol

  • I guess they didn't attach the trucks to these cars' frames?? Check out the rear trucks of both trains' cars.

  • Look how the windows burst! Amazing

  • dam,

  • where is charlie chaplin?

  • mother fuck!!!!!

  • its real they used to do this with old locomotives for a spectator sport!! I would like to see two SDs do it
