Most fitting as his vault is chock full of material he created & produced and the "industry's" tired and unjust methods for making a buck were always slimy. I trust Gail will eventually reach an amicable business agreement with distributors to share the music of Frank's we haven't heard yet. I mean America's greatest 20th century composer wrote these compositions firstly to be played. God bless Zorn 2

I think a lot of really great material came out of the yerbooti album. It was the beginging of some really intense compositions like Sinister Footwear. Yo Mama and Wild Love were two numbers that had some very intricate writing.

Hmm...the one photo shows Zappa playing left-handed. I know he was a talented guitarist, but I didn't know he could mimic Hendrix! There will never be another player like him--it seems his imagination was unlimited. Though he rarely used the fade-out method to end his songs, when he did, it sounds like he was just getting warmed up, and the engineer had to decide to fade-out or he would never quit playing! People used to marvel that Clapton didn't start playing until 17, but for FZ, it was 18!

Oh man, what a glorious rendition of 'Yo' Mama'; such a prurient and sultry solo, I had to bite myself at one point because it was so tasty!

Why have the Zappa Family Trust neglected to release a live version of this song? The thought of hearing this remastered into pristine quality, is enough to make me want to cry and cum simultaneously!
