  • Hmmmn strange my CM9 hasn't had even one single malfunction yet. I guess you are just unlucky.

  • @blindluck333 Well said. I just got done shooting my glock...still have not had one malfunction with it. My kahr is now not locking back on the last round. That just started today. I like all kinds of guns, but I only trust my glock. Will be selling kahr and buying another glock ASAP.

  • lolo lol lol lol lol lol flmao!!!! The funny as side stepping!!!! lol looks funny as hell! doofus! Sorry.

  • i love my kahr cm 9!it`s totally dependable!very very made and very accurate!

  • You are the first ones that I have heard say anything negative about the Kahr pistols so have fun with that bud.

  • not a fan of the left foot drag sidestepping you where doing but otherwise thanks for the vid!

  • Interesting style. Kind of a combination of shooting and Kung Fu.

I'd try that but I'd end up with a broken hip.

  • @badolan That was some funny shit !Had me in tears laughing so hard! This guy is a goofy son of a gun huh? lol lol loll lol lol!

  • No offense, but the shooter stands like a girl.

  • @SigShooter007 i am so glad i wasn't the only one who noticed that. talk about tactical huh lol

  • whats with the stance every time you should automaticly stop in it not stop then get in it

  • I've put close to 800 rounds through mine, with no problems/malfunctions, or anything. maybe you guys should try taking care of your guns. just a thought...

  • @Oorah1987 Good thing the last two commenters have such a wide base of experience and a broad sample set of experience to draw from.

Yes, some Kahrs come out good.

But enough don't that I'll recommend other brands and not depend on mine unless I'm desperate.

"taking care of guns", oh please. Kahrs that work don't even need that much babying.

Any gun that does need kid gloves is best left on the gun store shelves.

  • @Frankdude72 I personally haven't had or heard any problems, but anything is possible. Good luck, and stay safe.

  • @Oorah1987 I put 333 rounds through mine on the 1st range trip when breaking it in with 115 gr, 128 gr, 147 gr, JHP, FMJ, Corbon DPX , and my LEAD hand loads (a no-no in polygonal barrels). I tried every trick to force a malfunction, including extreme limp wristing, firing at all angles of lateral rotation including upside down, etc. Nope. 100% reliable. The only malfunctions I can create are jams when I sling shot the slide, but the slide release is 100% reliable. It's my 24/7/365 CCW.

  • POS? My Kahr K9 is perfectly reliable. Yours probably would be too if you wouldn't drop your magazines on the ground and bend the feed lips...

  • @TexasBlues77 Good to see the Kahr fanboys are still out there.

Look at a broader sample set.

it's a literal flip of the coin whether you get a good 'un or a bad 'un.

Horrors upon horrors about dropping the mags!

Get some training. A 2 day class will have you dropping your own mags dozens of times.

  • what a fag he goes into a stance when its a tiny pistol

  • @cocacola2120 What a fag, he talks a bunch shit w/o even knowing what he's saying.

  • You pose with that gun when you shoot it likes it's a fuking machine gun or something.

  • why POS? is that what i think it means or am i confussed? how reliable is the gun?

  • @eamonher From what I can tell, people buying Kahr pistols get half that are good, half that are crummy.

My two Kahrs have been crummy way past the break-in period the fanboys will scream about.

My PM9 is nicknamed POS specifically and now sits in the safe unless I'm desparate.

  • @Frankdude72 that sux i was seriously considering one of those

  • drop it? work on position, you do not need to get into a position like that.

  • I would say so. He seems determined to get into his weight forward stance. It is hand gun, not a rifle. recoil control is more in your grip them you legs. He will end up getting shot first if he NEEDS that position to shoot. Besides any professional shooter will tell you to train within 10 degrees of square to the target. NOT 70 to 90.

  • "Any professional shooter will tell you..." Gimme a break.

The comment of someone who needs more humility and training to boot.

And when I called ol' arrogant joebwhit on his punk attitude, he could only cite competition and exhibition shooters as the paragons of gun handling.

Get y'all's minds out of the gun games. IPSC, etc. ain't combat training.

jhadley777 and maybe 10% of the others got it, It's about developing good habits so you don't have to think about under stress.

  • Funny shooting style !!! dont you think ?

  • drop, lock, and check?... LOL

  • I have gone to a few retreats where noobs needed coaching like needing to drop a magazine instead of pausing and wondering where to put it. Even though at the end of the day you might have to replace a mag or two, if you just spent almost 1K on a pistol, not developing bad habits is worth it.

^^ to littlejon26, the footwork does need a little work, but I am sure those critiques are on the way.

Good job shooter, practice makes perfect.

  • Retaining magazines is always a good idea. Must be a cop. They teach them some bad habits. What happens if you are pinned in a firefight, (Like the one in LA) and all the while your dropping mags all over creation.

  • Cool vid. Not to add unnecessary critique, but he needs to work on his footwork - he shouldn't be crossing his legs when he steps.

    Other than that, fine job.

  • drop it or store it in your pocket?

  • because thats how you should traing once you start to put the magazine in your pocket, it will carry over in a real gun battle, practice makes perfect

  • Why would you drop your magazine onto the ground--especially in just a training exercise? Damaged mags are not good.

    respect your tools

  • Swatboy21 has it right. Practice builds habits. Habits become automatic, even under stress. This is the point of training. Proper training puts wear on tools. It would put even less wear on the gun and magazine to leave it in a gun safe somewhere unfired.

  • @Enlakesh Train like you fight.

  • @Frankdude72 I agree, train like you fight. From what I've seen here, IMHO, I'd recommend you guys visit Front Sight. :-)

  • @tuts40 I would strongly suggest checking out Suarez International.

My shooting is 1000% improved over where it was when I shot this video of a friend.

    It's all thanks to them.

  • Because the camera fatty is a stupid bish

  • Why was the shooter required to drop the mag onto the dirt? Would pocketing it not suffice?

  • because god forbid he was ever in a "real" situation that would waste time

  • lol at the comments

  • Why in the hell would he have to drop it like it had aids?

  • Was that guy shooting into a 100mph head wind?

  • Yes, you win the internet tonight sir haha. Funniest thing I've heard all day.

  • lol, I thought something looked odd.

  • my man is bracing like he is shooting a .500 linebaugh. its just a 9mm.

  • Well good deal, dude.

Unfortunately, the two Kahr products I've owned have a much more checkered history.

For a sampling of the litany of promblems I've had, see the comments section "Frank Shoots a Kahr PM9 POS" in the Related Videos column.

  • POS?

I've got 1000 flawless rounds through mine.
