Protestant Music seems to rock its way into the church. They seem to be light years ahead of us when it comes to the Music. I love CCLI music, too bad we cant see more local Catholic praise and worship bands take part in Masses like Youth Day!
We have a life teen mass every weekend, it's exactly the same as a regular mass, only we perform worship music for the songs. You could suggest this to your Priest, maybe he'd be okay with it. It realy does help to get the youth involved a lot more in mass and their faiths.

As we were leaving, we sat down to wait for our youth leader to meet us so we could leave, and there was a protester there shouting random stuff about the church. So we started singing Here I am Lord, Rain Down, and other songs. It was amazing, so maney people just started singing with us, it was a very powerful event. Just goes to show the power of
the youth.

Yes me and my youth group were there until the end of the congress. We're the ones who actually started the singing! We were the ones who were sitting on the ground in a semi-large group, and then we got up(because we had to go back home to Utah) and sang right in front of him! It was amazing and so powerful. One of the best experiences of my life. By far.
