@hanoschi wie schauts mit den taktraten aus? die sollten @ stock auf 822 hmz core hochfahren. 40 grad höhrt sich eher nach idle takten an. oder haste wasserkühlung? ;D bei mir sinds bei 1ghz schon so an die 80 grad. laufen andere spiele gescheid? und wie lief gta iV vor dem icenhancer?

@hanoschi try to use a different setting (high or mod end setting) if it doesnt work delete option.txt in the gta iv folder

@hanoschi your problems end my friend lower you gta patch if its 1.0.7.0 make it 1.0.4.0 it will give you at least 10-20 fps more but just make sure your iCEnchancer can run at 1.0.4.0 if it doesnt download the one that does. if you still have problems make sure your graphics card is patched to the latest patch if it still doesnt send me a message il try my best to help you.

@anhuypham upgrade your video card, GT series are so old... get at least a gtx 460, but gtx 560 ti is much more efficient than that or get a radeon 6850 at least

@sexking83 i didnt noticed any lag but with very high icenhancer setting ( included in 1.35) + antialiasing in 1920x1200 res i have to disable aa for more than 30 constant fps

So I hear Gta 4 is mainly CPU-bound, I'm planning to build a relatively cheap gaming rig, with i3-2100 + GTX 560 Ti + 4gb of ddr3-1333 ram, it'll do well in most games but how well do you think it can handle this mod ???

@blackrack2008 you would do better buying the i5 2500k. gonna buy this one too. with stock cooler and voltage it will run up to 4ghz and gta iv will run much smoother without enb. the 560 ti is a power/price monster too and is easily overclockable. but you should take a card with a new cooler like my palit or the msi card

@TheOpenfield Actually I don't think I have the budget for i5 2500k although I want it so much, I'm going to go with a 560 Ti because a good friend of mine is giving me a panasonic 3DTV I want to use with the PC, I'll get an i3-2100 with a good motherboard and save some money and maybe later get an ivy bridge or upgrade to i5 2500k.

I heard the MSI twin frozr gtx 560 Ti runs really cool, would you recommend it ??

@blackrack2008 yee the twin frozer is rly good and one of the best in temperature :) the i3 is ok all the way through but with a quad youll get a some advatanges in some games or programms. the mainboard for your i3 is also compatible for the i5 so you can upgrade later if you want :)

SLI support was added in Nvidia drivers I think the 180 ones. Also, two 460s in SLI are equal to a 580, which is better than even an OCed 560 Ti.

@neostriker73 it is supported but it is not optimized for sli. 560 ti sli wil run 30% faster than non sli. but with overclocking off about 15-20% ull get the same fps.

@KingStivan my 560 gtx ti is extreme overclocked and gta iv cant handle sli that good :/ thats why my 25% overclocked 560 is as fast as your 560 sli. sry mate :( you could try oc too but with 2 sli you should be careful with the temps
