The facts are these: Yes, the Wings won the cup and I give them credit, however 2 of your top 4 are already over 30 and Hossa is a rental just like he was in Pitt, he's gone next year. When our top 4 are in their prime the Wings will be rebuilding. While I understand a team relaxing a little with a 5-2 lead, after restoring the 2 goal lead at 6-4 you think a veteran team would wake up and clamp down. The PENS kept coming and the Wings could NOT handle it. If only they believed it last spring...
