it is so much easier on the mac because all you do in all cases, is just 'control' scroll up, to zoom. Control, scroll down to zoom back to normal. . very simple, and it's universal in the OS so it always works and does not require any settings to be changed. Just control+scroll up, and you got it, no matter where you are since it's a universal operating system function.

I have a major problem with my laptop. I have a NV79. My screen is having a big problem. When putting an image up the picture expands out. When going online all the videos, advertisements, and commercials kick unto the left top corner of the screen...which cause headaches when typing or looking at other sites. I thought it was my screen by checking the resolutions and of course, pressing Cltr + -. This is really giving me a headache could you assist?

I use Zoomit to Zoom in and Zoom out.

But when I zoom in, it locks my image!

Also, when I try to click on something, i draw.

Do you know another other programs that allow me to Zoom in/out while

This is one more reason I've switched to Linux. The monopolists at Microsoft couldn't implement a half-decent magnifier after TEN+ years, when the video cards we have are insanely powerful. MS left in a crippled magnifier to force disabled people to buy something extra that costs hundreds of dollars. The one on the Mac looks great, and the Compiz one works well too. They both do full-screen, with bilinear smoothing. The Linux one even works during videos (not sure about the Mac one).

Everyone have a Ctrl (control) key on the keyboard right ..

hold it and with your mouse wheel just go up ad down if u got up it zoom's in and if u go down it zooms out so just hold (Ctrl+ Wheel Down) :D no need to thx :D

In Safari 4 just hold down CTRL and scroll to zoom.

I have Ubuntu Linux installed on a partition and it has that mac zoom feature which is awesome. Microsoft just sucks at everything theyve created themselves. all the good things are separate independent companies.

too bad I love gaming so i cant really switch operating system for the little things :S

For Windows you can also do what Fartthriller said,go to view>zoom and there u see the zoom in and zoom out shortcut wich are ctrl+ + for zooming in and ctrl+ - for zooming out

Actually, this does not work with the Windows OS. It may work in your browser, but it will not enlarge the task bar, for example.

zoomit is NOT the same as mac zoom. mac zoom is great because u can zoom in on a small video. zoomit freezes the frame and zooms in.

Zoomit is a free utility that almost does what OSX does. It's for presentations really, but it's better than that M$oft abomination.
