@vlora60 Yes, to enable UAC is as easy to disable UAC. You just need to be an administrator to do these things.

@AdictedGames I assume you mean that this pops up every time that you try to run the program? I'd assume that if you right click on the shortcut / link / program and go to the properties, then checked the compatibility tab there, you'd see the option to uncheck the "run this program as an administrator" check box. Click apply. Click OK. Hope that fixes your problem.

Have you tried it from a user without admin rights? It does not really work if you are not giving the admin credentials. Try it out...

When the UAC pops up and asks me if i want the program to donwload files to the computer, I click "yes", then the screen dims and stays that way for a few minutes, then it takes me back to the beginning, solutions?

@maadd100 Boot into Safe Mode by pressing F8 while booting. Open the run box from Start Menu > All Programs > Accessories > and type "cmd" and click OK. (I think that the run box in safe mode will be run with admin privileges automatically.) Then in the command prompt, check your system files with "sfc /scannow" Just a guess, though.

Thanks to the author of the program. Stupid idiots who have posted saying "what if I'm not administrator". This is not a hacking video, fools. If you didn't know, even if have administrator rights, Vista/7/Server 2008 requires you to run as THE administrator user, this is how to elevate to that account to run certain programs, and if needed turn off the UAC prompts.

That would mean the user you are currently logging in as is not the Admin. (Or you could have a virus, locking you out. I've seen that before.) Are you the only user of the computer?
