One of the best songs of all time. I'll never forget seeing Wilco in some lecture hall at University of Colorado before YHF was officially released but after fans heard it and fell in love. What makes them different is, as of today, a combination of two things. One is Tweedy's writing style, he writes songs that mean something, and he puts a ton of thought into them. Second is Nels Cline, not many guitarists like him out there, he reminds me of David Gilmour.

There are lots of song writers that put a lot of thought and effort into a song, but end up with something horrible. Tweedy is gifted at writing songs. It's not just that his songs have meaning, he's also a very skilled songwriter, and I'd almost go as far as calling him a poet. His style reminds me of Jim Morrison, he's not so much a songwriter as a poet, really.
