Does Germany have a good rail system? That's something we really need in the states. We have good interstate highways but they don't let us drive fast on them like Germany does. I hear Germany has higher standards to get a driver's license as well. I want to visit your country someday.

The German rail system is a good one indeed. I remember taking the train a lot. And yes, getting a license is not only hard, but costly.

If you're going, I think the major cities are our biggest attractions, like Berlin, Frankfurt, Munich and if you like, maybe Hamburg. There's a lot to see, so check out anything you find interesting.

I plan to do a lot of research online. Hell I don't even buy a shirt before I research it. Yes, I'd love to rent a car and drive on the Autobahn. The Interstate in Montana at one time had no speed limit. It was called the Montanabahn. There was a speed limit but the fine was $5 payable in cash to the police officer. Many drivers kept a few $5 bills above the visor for that purpose. When I go to Europe I plan to stay for at least a month. I don't think it's possible to see much in just a week.
