I dont understand why the states cares so much if a soldier has had enough and wants to leave, isn't it a free country over there or is it like the mob once your in the only way out is death, or to have your legs blown off. Your military is strong enough whats a couple thousands here and there wanting to leave that communist rule.
the only way america can give its veterans a "blank cheque" for recovery.. is if the middle class stops having to pay for war all on their own.. start taxing your rich more because, they can afford it.. since when does boot camp train you to do humanitarian work.Your not the red cross you coward when you signed up you were taught to kill if you couldnt hack it tell taxpayers to stop feeding & housing a cowards family the army fights for our country for gods sake get welfare
I think he should be dishonorably discharged and sent home, after all, that's what he wants. There are thousands of active duty military personnel suffering from PTSD and they certainly don't abandon their military service commitment and haul ass for Canada, leaving being the remainder of their squad!! The fact is, this guy is a coward and should be DISHONORABLY discharged!!! Get him OUT of there, send him home to MOMMA!!!! That's where he belongs. God bless OUR REAL Troops and Allies!!!

He's being charged because he FLED to Canada while deployed during war time, so he also abandoned his fellow soldiers. Bottom line, he was afraid, too afraid to do the job so he tucked tail and hauled ass to Canada!!!!

18 Veterans commit suicide daily. 1000 Veterans have attempted suicide while under care for injuries.
Inadequate care for physical and psych. injuries...the army of Rome, not America.
