"Man on the Moon" was not a good representation of the actual person, or situations. They tried to make it so obvious, that the magic of detail was lost. AK knew his art. Check it out for yourself, you will see. It's almost like re-painting a Picasso for a modern day audience. Still, I love JC.

Wonderfully impressive movie. Jim Carrey was brilliant as Andy Kaufman. When it comes to put Carrey's best films (in acting department) my vote authomatically goes to Man On The Moon and The Truman Show. He deserved the Oscar or at least being nominated for this award. Actually, this movie is mainly to remember Andy Kaufman. As far as i am concerned, Andy Kaufman was a great actor. He can simply control the emotion of audience by different tricks. According to history, he died at age 35. From his show, he used some strange condition to make audience laugh, cry, or shocked. However, he got cancer. But the nurse couldn't cure him. Therefore, he died. In the end of this movie, you still can see so many actor intimate him. That shows you will remember him. right?

I agree, Charlie. The Oscars are nothing but Hollywood politics at it's worse. Never watch them anymore because they rarely get it right.
