I've always knew the name of Kings X from listening to punk music in my teen years, Kings X was always a name mentioned by punk bands as a love and an influence. Never listened to them before though. Driving to work at 5am this morning and the radio played this song, I was like who the fk is this?? Found out and was stunned and disappointed I didn't listen to them sooner.

@DARRINCONNOR1 No dude, I've talked to Doug about this song and he was not writing about a dude. What he'd tell you is, the song can be about whom-ever. Goldilox is on the 1st album. First came the straight up christian lyrics. Then came the questioning Christianity lyrics, the "struggling with homosexuality" lyrics (Dogman) then the "Hey, I AM gay lyrics, then a gay anthem or two. Like "Red" from Massive Grooves and between you and me I'm not gay either but that song ROCKS!
@sowlschooled Wow,thanx for the info.Jerry does a flawless job on the drums on this song.Beside's the killer sound he has,I love the offbeat's on the snare.I requested this song on the radio couple month's ago.The DJ stated he new the band but did not know the actual song,he would look it up and try to get it on.Waited 1.5 hrs. never played it.I was along way from home working and really wanted too hear the song.

@MetalJassim This was filmed at "Slash Town" (water park) in Houston Tx. I know these guys are not origanlly from Houston, but that is where they got their start.Unfortunately they were not that big in Houston. The best thing about that was getting to see them play in smaller venue's. These guys are so under rated.
honestly the most underrated bands in the world. their harmonies are beautiful, and ty's tone is so good along with his leads. and doug's voice is so soulful, all in all they're the best band
In a way, I'm almost glad that these guys stayed underground... Since a small amount of us know them, stupid people who prefer the Top 40 Billboard music can't hate on this. This is the thinking man's hard rock band.
