I loved a great number of Hank's songs, and believe him to be a master songwriter. I believe his smoothness and his perfect enunciation of the words to the songs is almost beyond comparison. He had class and was so gracious to visit with me during a session in the 90's that my brother was playing the piano on in Oklahoma. RIP Hank
Went lookin' for this music years ago because Merle Haggard's songs about Bob Wills got my attention. Heard this music and found the perfect meld between the swing music of Miller, Dorsey and Goodman, and the shit-kickin' real life sound of America trying to get by on a few dollars and heart. It never grows old. Charlie Mustang
great voice but has anyone got him singing "What made her change". I've got a 45rpm of it but want it on cd. Can't find it anywhere on any of his albums!!
One of Hanks very best songs. Thanks for the memories.

Oh, man, does that bring back memories.
Tall, handsome, a great song writer, and a great stage performer.
I went to many a Hank Thompson dance, and I was lucky enough to be at a couple of private dances he played for at University of Oklahoma.
Rest in peace, Hank, I still love your music.
