and last time i checked not many mustangs were running in Time Attack which is an Import dominated series. and no one is gonna run 15 psi on stock internals, granted many cars can take it, an easy upgrade on pistons and rods to handle the load will do just fine, on many Hondas and Toyotas. for instance a guy is building a Scion tC with a stock block, stock sleeves, and a hist load of upgrades and is pushing 29 psi with over 660whp and it beat his Corvette Z06.
yeah 29 with a stock block is pretty impressive from a 4 cylinder.. like i said not many mustangs run Time Attack, which involves short circut tracks... how is dragging a 4 cylinder pointless when there are alot of 6-10 sec Civics, and tC's, as well as 10 sec all motor Honda's?

there are plenty of fast civics out there, no question about it. but there are also alot that dont break into the 15's. a drag race is about 2 things, traction and power. by choosing a fwd 4 cylinder car you put yourself at a disadvantage. yes a stripped out civic with a well built motor can run10's, even 9's on nitrous or boost it's just not the most effective way to go fast. as far as how i get around, 12 speed with a body kit bitches
@nitrousboy0311 idk i'm better off with my dad's car...a single turbo kit for my Mazda would cost 4grand, only putting me to the level of a stock Mazdaspeed3. My dad's Audi is stock with an ECU chip and pulls 0-60 in the late 4's...it has a lot more potential, twin turbos(which recently were replaced iwth new ones under warranty for free) so yeah it would cost a lot to make my mazda just up to even the stock audi's standard...
@nitrousboy0311 Unfortunately, going with an S13 or any of the 240SX models would be expensive to build if bought in stock form. They require forced induction for the KA (which some guys have done) or you have to engine swap (SR and RB are popular swaps with some guys using American LS engines). As much as I love the Silvia, they need plenty thrown at them to play with the big boys. They are super sexy in my mind though ;)
