lots of vsts (he gets a kick out of trying to make them sound good according to the interview in remix mag), alesis andromeda, dave smith polyevolver, yamaha motif and mpc 4000 and a mac laptop running sonar.... he samples the chords into the 4000 and plays them back from the pads everything is sequenced on sonar... this info was gathered from his various interviews

That is far from true, danja has his own sound, somewhat, but his sound is just an offspring of timbalands, it has a lot of danja in it, but his drums come straight from the teachings of timbaland, his melodies however, can be called all his own. Danja and Timbaland are one of the only producers that use unique lively drums, He got known because Timbaland put him on his team and mentored him a lot, same goes for Ryan Tedder

Not that I know of, but a lot of his work is dependent on his whole team, most of his tracks sound super super hot after his engineer fixes them up and gives them that original sound

Not really. The only song I thing he used a sample on that I know is "Turntables" by Ciara. Everything else is original from what Ive heard. Timbo samples so much

If what you're saying is right, then Danja is very good. Might be one of the best out there. It's very difficult to come up with original stuff that is hot. Only a handful of producers do not sample. Those are the ones with real talent.

Danja does not sample, but he tends to use a lot of the same drum samples, and he is majorly influenced by his mentor, timbaland. Timbaland samples all the time and he does get in trouble for it lol, but knowing him, he doesn't care. Danja is indeed really good, but some of the tracks he has produced, you ponder on why he would make something so crap, there is this one track he did for Ciara, the melody is horrible but the drums were good. He is one of the best as a producer, but he not original
