I love how when you make the first outlines to begin with I just can't see what you are making... the as you shade more and more the picture just comes to life.

Are you looking at a copy of the picture as you paint? Have you made a colour reversed copy of the picture beforehand? Just so well done.

Very nice paintings. Few questions, Do you outline the portrait on the canvas before you go in with the paint? if not. How did you get the proportion down? You seems to pick up the negative (shading) part without hesitation? how do you do it?

very good, i do paintings similar to this, i did a kate moss one recently. was just wondering how i could also do a speed up vidio like this im a complete idiot when it comes to computers. it must have been so cool for you when you watched this back.

sorry for the delay, this is just shot on DV cam and speeded up on computer,,,,,,, the quickest way is just get a web cam with time lapse feature on, most do

did you mean DVD cam? i have one of them but the cd's only record 40mins and it takes me about 5 hours to finish a painting, does a web cam have to be connected to a computer to record? sorry bout all the questions lol.

i use miniDV cam, but DVD cam works fine, plug the cam direct into computer and record direct onto external / internal harddrive as like you say you are limited with time and this solves that prob (also then you dont have to transfer info to hard drive as its already there)

Or with a web cam yes one that plug into computer.......... mines a cheap creative one..... fine for youtube no good for watching on TVs
