I've seen gantz, and i'm still reading it, and I say when it coomes down too it, you cant campare the two. Fooly cooly is like a parody anime, not ment to be that serious. But It's one of my favs. I can even say I like it better than the Gantz anime. The manga is tops hands down, but if i had to either watch one or the other, FLCL all the way!! I know what you mean, though; people DO need to realize that anime goes further than Adult S wim, and Toonami.
