What really happened: Ed, Edd n Eddy moved to Fortune City to make a killing in the casinos. When the outbreak occurred, Edd went insane after witnessing Ed and Eddy being devoured by zombies and seeing that the zombies also ruined his clean record. So he basically created a new alias for himself (Carl) and became the mailman we see in this video today.
