Lady Gaga didn't start the trend, she probably has never heard of them! =.= These lenses have been out in Asia for like 5 or 6 years. They're are legally manufactured in Asia. In Korea, the optometrists even sell circle lenses. CBS, ABC, NY times should of done their research before making false accusations and such. <_<

And how is this any different than the risks of prescription contacts? They're the same thing, same risks. If anything, these are less risky because they have no prescription in them. Take care of them as you would any other pair of contacts and I assure you, you'll be fine.

Seriously, this is complete b.s. Everyone who wears circle lenses, for one, are NOT trying to be Lady Gaga-- get your facts straight. Secondly-- Both circle lenses and prescribed contact lenses by a eye practitioner have the same risks like the onces listed [lack of oxygen, vision impaiment, etc etc]. I don't see why they are illegal, besides the fact that you aren't spending almost 5 times the amount you would going through an eye doctor.

FIRST of all Lady Gaga didn't start the Circle Lenses phase, cause they've been popular WAYYYY before Lady Gaga's "Bad Romance". She used the computer to make her eyes bigger. Circle Lenses are just as bad as regular contacts. Why don't you make a report and America should make regular contact lenses ilegal too.
