That bulb inside the 2-liter seems to be a fire hazard, though.

How about an energy-saving bulb instead? It doesn't generate as much heat as a bulb that large would.

Who said anything about being an eco warrior? I'm just saying that a different bulb would prevent that 2-liter from melting or - worse - catching fire. The energy-saving bulb was the first one that came to mind at the time. (Though, an LED bulb would be interesting too if it was bright enough.)

Unless you WANT people who mimic the tree design to have their house catch fire, but hey, that's another matter altogether.
