at least they did some japanese voices in the PS3 version, this game could have been classic but they just had to dubb it. Hope there's a sequel to the PS3 SIREN game and it has complete japanese cast and voicing.

Nowadays u can play every ps2 game on the ps3 (but if u have an european ps3 u can play only PAL ps2 games) with a better resolution if u have an HD Tv. There's also a remake of forbidden siren 1 with american characters and better graphics for the PS3 called Siren Blood Curse aviable in the online Ps store, but it's a lot worse than the original and like almost every Ps store game it's too short for its cost. If u want to play another game as good as this one, get Forbidden Siren 2 for ps2.

Here's a good argument: How about neither American voice actors or British voice actors doing a dub track, and just have it in Japanese with subtitles? Or at least the option, you know? I don't like the English dubbing. Not because of the accent, just because..it's not good. It really just takes me out of the game, and I don't feel as creeped out as I should. I'd rather have NO English dubbing, at all.

I thought the accents would bother me a lot but it isn't so bad at all, and in the second game kyoya has a new voice actor with a 'Normal' voice. But this game is hard as hell.IMO and also they aren't "Zombies" they're Shibito completely different, they aren't out to eat you, they got shotguns and Pistols ready to kill you. And Sightjacking is fun once you get used to it, again IMO.

The similarities are skin deep. Silent Hill doesn't let you play multiple characters in the same game, and let's face it, a game where you can never truly kill any enemies and (assuming you have one) have to use your intelligence and quick thinking to survive is true survival horror.

And the stories couldn't be more different: Silent Hill is about Johnny Anyguy wandering into Silent Hill looking for answers; Siren is about a diverse cast trying to survive and escape.

They show enough. Besides, I doubt anyone would be particularly pleased if they found themselves in a creepy, foggy village filled with zombies and surrounded by a sea of blood.

Though you've got a point: some of these scenes are utter wallbangers. Aside from them, I think the VOs did a good job: none of the emotions are exaggerated and each character conveys a sense of subdued hopelessness which accompanies the game.
