  • Miss Lee Van Cleef

  • two bad asses

  • Legendary. I'll bet that with these two actors this commercial was shot in less time than it takes to make popcorn in a microwave.

  • lol RIP Lee

  • Would have been better if Eli Wallach pulled into the station and got out of that van.

  • great to see george kennedy and lee van cleef together two legends.

  • where's old man McCreedy? anyone remember the midas commericial where the person asks " will that muffler fit my car" and the mechanic guy holding an over sized muffler says in a half crazy voice while hold a big hammer " I can make if fit"... lol

  • How funny. I actually met these two. George lived at Oxnard shores,I used to be his Culligan delivery man. He was so laid back. And Lee hung out at the Esplanade Mall in Oxnard Ca. Loved to shop at the Tinder Box for his tobacco needs. If you didnt mind his pipe smoke he would talk to you while he smoked.

  • van cleef be gettin kinda lonely at the top! the tip top!!!

  • Lee Van Cleef. Liberty Valance's sidekick. Haha

  • I fondly remember those ads!!!!!

  • Ha! What great TV spot! Got to admit, I've never seen this commercial before. With two powerful actors: Oscar winner George Kennedy and the late great Lee Van Cleef. THANKS so much for sharing it with us! You've MADE my day & my weekend!

  • Lee Van Cleef is Legend, i remember my grandfather, he liked him

  • 'm also looking for the one where the hapless dude with the noisy muffler is at the red light and a rough-looking biker pulls up and says, "You're a menace to society!" Then the pretty blonde pulls up, smiles, gets his attention and says, "Your muffler -- fix it!"

  • awsome ad im 24yrs old and lee van cleef is my favourite actor

  • Did we know..

    George Kennedy-Officer under George S. Patton-ww2.

Lee Van Cleef- Served on U-boat chaser Atlantic-ww2.

  • I'm looking for the one that started out, "Ya mufflah....fix it!" Old broad, thick Brooklyn accent, driving a nice job, pulling up to the schmuck in a clunker. She says, "Ya Mufflah...take it to Midas."

  • Hey, God Bless 'em both for doing that gig! I'll bet when they got done filming, their whole crew went out and had a few drinks and a great dinner, and talked about all the incredible memories that only 2 legends like that can dredge up. This was totally cool. Thanks for posting. Joel in Tucson

  • This is the best commercial ever made, it is better than 98% of movies made nowadays and its shorter.

  • @knockedupbabe138 Hell Yeah! and this comment is better than 98% of YouTube comments.

  • @knockedupbabe138 What makes it brilliant is choosing George Kennedy as the foil, instead of some hack!

  • I HAD UP TO HERE

  • This is so great.

  • Thanks for posting this! It's great to see this kind of original commercial.

  • Please please, someone post the original commercial, where the Van Cleef character was introduced. He comes in the night to apply for a Midas job: "hear you're hirin.." it started out. It was the best of the series.

  • Classic commercials the music is from a spaghetti western (can't remember the movie's name)and was also used on the video game Red Dead Revolver.....LVC was the man THX

  • I grew up on those commercials here in Vancouver, Canada. Remember the "This is fish, fresh from the sea..." commercial.

Hey, can you get the commercial of Robert Conrad with the Duracell Battery on his shoulder.

  • Nice mock-Morricone tune.

  • Gee, I remember that commercial... when guys were real men.

  • Van Cleef = FUCKING LEGEND!!

  • Does anyone have this commercial on disc or vhs? I would be happy to buy a copy of it please.
