RM8649 - You can pull a wedge w/ a dully. You'll almost always have to worry about axle weights esp on the front. Most states require you to have a cdl if your grossed above 26k. Florida (i think) is like texas where if you run intrastate you don't have to have a cdl unless your above the 26k mark, while other states might require it if your running otr.

I ran a dully for about a year and made great money with it (when I would sleep in the truck) then bumped to a tractor!!

Is it legal to pull a 3- 4 wedge trailer with just a 1 ton truck?

@RM8649 Yeah I've seen it done before, however, I think you need a CDL because of the length of the trailer.

i load nissans, we load 8 cars in 15 mins includings straping and deck movement and unload in 10 mins , 7 loads a day  in 8 hours..........

Im at about 32mins for a load and 15 mins for an unload.
